砂人联党美里与实务地国会联委会将在7月21日晚上，在美里市政局广场举办722砂拉越独立日倒数活动。 筹委会主席俞小珊指出，这项倒数活动旨在让人们欢庆722的到来。 他说，当晚的节目将会以本地乐队的演出为开始，并预计会有上万人出席。 “现场有多个售卖小食和饮品的摊位。晚上7时至9时30分有本地乐队表演，之后邀请本地各族歌手，演绎不同语言的歌曲，突显砂拉越多元民族的特色与文化。” 砂首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿德南沙登已经宣布今年722为砂公共假期。 俞小珊说，庆祝会在11时45分开始燃放烟火，这是庆祝722砂拉越独立日活动最高潮的时刻，让所有参与者一起感受砂拉越曾经独立自治的历史事实。 他促请民众记住722砂拉越独立日，让全体砂拉越人清楚知道真实的砂拉越历史，让人民形成一股强大力量，督促和充作砂州政府向联邦政府索回原本属于砂拉越的自主权。
比尔案嫌犯并非是人联党党员
砂拉越人民联合党中央宣教处针对砂拉越报告网站的报导作出澄清，指涉及美里公正党区部秘书比尔加勇枪杀案的李姓嫌犯并非是人联党党员。 党透过文告指，相关网站于本月16日的报导是具有恶意的，以选择性列出案件事实及毫无根据的推论，试图将人联党牵涉在比尔加勇案件当中，打击人联党的公众形象。 需要强调的是，自案件发生，人联党不断强烈谴责这起案件的凶徒，并呼吁警方尽快将涉案者绳之以法。 而且，人联党在过去以来，也不曾涉及任何政治或非政治的暴力行为。 同时，人联党在文告中也强调，人联党有超过10万名党员，而党向来立场是遵从法纪，如任何党员涉及刑事案件，他同样会受到党严厉纪律对付。
石角区开斋节联欢会
砂人联党主席兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤强调，虽然第11届砂拉越选举已经结束，但他的“竞选”工作还是继续进行，积极为居民解决各种民生问题。 他说，无论是道路、沟渠或其他基本设施问题，人联党都会继续去关注，而不是冷眼旁观。 他也强调，有关石角区的发展拨款，绝对不会“外流”，因为这对石角居民不公平。 “凡是拨给石角的发展基金，我们都要用在石角区上，而不是惠及他人。” 沈桂贤是在砂人联党与石角国阵联办石角区开斋节联欢会上致词时，这么表示。 他强调，他会继续注重在选区服务上，让其他反对党选区的选民看到投选国阵的区别与重要性。 另一方面，他指活动之所以在石角中华公会礼堂举行，是为了让各族可以一起庆祝开斋节，拉近彼此距离。 他表示，与以往岁月相比，现代的人们都少了传统的佳节共庆与文化共享精神，每当到了属于自己的节日，就自己庆祝，没有与左邻右舍一起欢庆。 他指出，今日活动的筹委会主席阿米尔玛目虽然是巫裔，但说得一口流利的客家话与华语，这是因为后者在小时候，经常随着父母与华族朋友团聚，从中学习到华族方言。 “但现今时代，这种各族文化与语言融合的情况已经非常少。” 他说，为了恢复这种精神，往后每个佳节，石角都会举办各族参与的庆祝活动，让所有人都一起参与。

誰是政治性感?誰才是危險者？
“我不感到驚訝，因為”馬來亞人”或是馬來亞的反對黨永遠不會了解砂拉越人的頭腦。” 砂人聯黨中央秘書長拿督陳超耀律師今日發文告答覆峇都林當州議員施志豪今日在《婆羅洲郵報》指出，要拿督沈桂賢醫生放棄發表”砂拉越不是州”的言論。 陳超耀說，峇都林當州議員應該從1963年馬西亞契約的A附件，第二章，第4（2)節去了解，馬來亞是由馬來聯邦組成，以及婆羅洲和其原始版本的新加坡。峇都林當州議員應該能夠區分大寫的“S”和小寫的“s”字母。1963年馬來西亞契約與吉打，檳城或玻璃市完全無關，砂拉越根本不是“馬來亞聯邦”。 尊貴的峇都林當州議員也應繼續去讀1963馬來西亞契約第二部份的第4節（3），其中所指的“州”是“馬來西亞日”之前的領土定義，並且，這也不是指吉打，檳城或玻璃市，而是指整個馬來亞，婆羅洲邦國和新加坡邦國。 所以，這裡的馬來亞是指一個領土或是一個”區域”，因為那是馬來亞的邊界，也是”馬來西亞日”之前就州屬所作出的法律注釋。這亦是在1976馬來西亞憲法之前，已經很清楚地在科博特委員會（Cobbold Commission），政府委員會報告書（The Inter-Governmental Committee Report）和1963馬來西亞契約和1963馬來西亞（第35章）闡明砂拉越所賦予的地位。 有鑒於此，拿督沈桂賢醫生所做的一切，根本不會妨礙索回砂拉越自治權力的努力，相反，它將能加快索回自治主權。 “我們應該就砂拉越和人民應賦予的所有權益，全都說出來。為了砂拉越全民權益，我敦促所有砂拉越的州議員，即使持有政治分歧都要團結起來，通過團結一致的聲音說出來，如此我們可以在不久的將來，達致我們索回自治主權的目標。” 否則，只是一昧就砂拉越自治主權的重要議題上進行無謂的政治爭拗，將不會對砂拉越索回自治主權有任何幫助。

New phase 2 of Sri Aman hospital
