Miri religious school renovation completed

The construction of a covered multi purpose hall at a religious school here has been successfully completed and was officially launched today. 美里人民宗教学校雨盖多用途礼堂建设工程已顺利完成,并于今日正式启用与落成。 该项工程是由砂拉越旅游部副部长拿督陈超耀通过2024年乡区转型计划(RTP)拨款15万令吉推动。工程于去年10月移交,12月正式动工,并由公共工程局(JKR)监督执行,原定今年4月29日竣工,惟工程进展顺利,提前一个月完成。 在仪式上,陈超耀也移交5000令吉常年拨款予该校,作为日常运作与发展用途。 该校家教协会主席杰弗里哈辛表示,该校创立于1956年,至今已有71年历史。新建礼堂于今年4月完成,主要供学生进行各类活动使用。 他指出,尽管礼堂已顺利竣工,目前尚缺照明设备,并感谢陈超耀一直以来的支持,同时也希望未来继续获得协助,以完善学校建设。 据悉,目前该宗教学校约有200名学生,学生们每天上午在政府学校上课,下午及傍晚则返回宗教学校接受宗教教育。

陈超耀协助提升美里肢体残疾人协会硬体设施

陈超耀:通过乡区转型计划确保社区环境更安全完善

砂旅游副部长兼卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀表示,政府将持续通过乡区转型计划(RTP)推动基础设施提升,确保社区环境更安全完善。 他今早展开巡视行程,先后前往双溪巴翁(Sungai Baong)及瓜拉峇南巴都沙杜(Kuala Baram Batu 1 )两处回教坟场,了解RTP 2026项目进展情况。 其中,双溪巴翁回教坟场项目拨款为10万令吉,而瓜拉峇南巴都沙杜回教坟场项目则为8万令吉,主要涉及设施提升与改善工程。 陈超耀在巡视巴都沙杜时指出,当地有两项需要优先处理的事项。第一是在当地建设一间看守屋,作为储存设备及供人员驻守用途。 他表示,根据当地居民反映,现有存放的物品曾发生失窃事件,因此有必要设立看守设施,以加强管理与安全。 “第二是提升电力相关设施,包括维修及基本电力配套,以确保当地运作顺畅。” 此外,他指出,较早前在双溪巴翁回教坟场进行的视察中,发现当地一座已有约20年历史的建筑物情况欠佳,结构因白蚁侵蚀而严重损坏。 “有关建筑物目前状况相当恶劣,确实有必要进行维修或重建。” 他也提到,当地照明设施不足,尤其是在凌晨时段环境昏暗,影响安全。 “根据反映,当地有人凌晨3时进出,但缺乏照明,因此提升照明系统是当务之急。” 他表示,相关工程团队及工程师将前往现场进行进一步评估,并拟定改善方案。 陈超耀强调,上述两个项目是目前最重要的社区发展项目之一,政府将继续通过RTP计划,推动地方建设与提升人民生活素质。

砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部日前派员到访美里,对“美里文化遗产径”(Miri Heritage Trail)沿线8处世界二战历史遗迹进行实地考察,评估景点现状及发展方向,以推动二战历史旅游发展。 此次考察团由砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部首席助理秘书蔡静芬率队,砂旅游部副部长拿督陈超耀亲自随行,就文化遗产整体规划、设施及旅游发展进行交流。考察涵盖的遗址包括布莱顿海滩日军登陆遗址(含灯塔、日本纪念碑及灯塔看守人之墓)、加拿大山一号油井、加拿大山英国水力水坝及二战防空洞、拿督柏迈苏里王后陵墓、瓜拉峇南第二十步兵旅英国碉堡、罗冰战俘营及处决场,以及加拿大山二战纪念公园。 陈超耀指出,这些遗址完整记录美里在日占时期的历史脉络,承载深厚的人文记忆与历史价值。美里文化遗产径汇聚本地最具代表性的二战遗迹,不仅具有重要历史教育意义,也具备可观的旅游发展潜力。他强调,推动文化遗产径不仅是发展旅游,更是让公众理解、铭记并传承本土历史。 陈超耀转述历史文献,美里文化遗产径在二战期间,曾有28名战俘及本地居民在此遭日军处决,布莱顿海滩是日军登陆美里的重要据点。灯塔看守人阿旺美达利在发现日军逼近时发出警报,试图通知各方应对,但不幸遇害,其墓地至今仍安葬于此,象征其英勇牺牲精神。灯塔旁的日本纪念碑则记录了当年在美里石油工业服务期间不幸丧命的各国人士,反映战争对不同族群及国家的共同伤痛。 他强调,这些遗址是重要的文化资产与教育现场,应妥善保护与传承,让后代了解战争历史,铭记和平的珍贵。
