陈冠勋：坚决反对教育部统一各源流学校国语课程
人联党中央教育局主任陈冠勋强调，该党与9华教团体立场一致，坚决反对教育部统一各源流学校国语课程。 他说，不同源流学校的国语教学方式和程度毕竟不同，在华小和淡小，国语是以第二语文方式教导，而不是像国小一般，是所有科目的教学媒介语。 “教育部甚至没有清楚说明统一国语课程的缘由，假如冒然落实的话，很可能对国语水平的提升没有帮助，还会对学生的学习带来反效果。” “华教同仁以及广大华社同胞最担心的是，这会是令华小变质的开始。因此，人联党坚决反对。” 他指出，针对教育部试图统一各源流学校的国语课程，即无论华小或淡小，一律将与国小采用相同的国语课程，董总、教总、雪隆董联会、华理会、国民型华文中学校长理事会、全国校长职工会、全国华小校长协会、华教家长协会以及拉曼大学已经召开会议并表态反对，人联党也绝对将和华教同仁站在同一阵线。 不过，他认为，来自行动党的副教育部长黄家和，理应首先制止这项变动，可惜却不见挺身而出。 “这项统一各源流国语课程的做法，极有可能导致华小变质，难道行动党忍心袖手旁观？” 陈冠勋也是马拉端区州议员，他今天发表文告这么指出。 他称，行动党获得有史以来最大的华社支持，而且坐拥40个议席，数目居执政党之首，既有责任，也该有能力制止教育部任何不利华小的决策。 他回顾说，2009年教育部曾经试图增加华淡小国语课和相关新科目，进而可能统一各源流学校的国语课程，当时人联党和马华虽然是国阵成员党，也非常反对有关做法，庆幸经由时任副教育部长魏家祥向时任教育部长兼副首相慕尤汀据理力争，并与教育总监交涉，终令教育部收回成命。 “人联党与马华的席位总数，还不如单单一个行动党。为什么当年人联与马华可以阻止教育部不利华小的政策，如今握有更大政治筹码的行动党却无能为力？” 陈冠勋也指出，教育部正、副部长同是来自希盟，一路以来，希盟总是自我标榜势必要扭转马来西亚教育政策偏差，包括在执政前夸口上台必定承认独中统考，废除大学招生固打制度等等，然而他们非但没有兑现诺言，还几度要推行引起华社剧烈反弹的变动，比如引进爪夷文和四十圣训教学等等。 “希望行动党这次能够一改‘静静’作风，特别是副教育部长黄家和，必须鼓起勇气阻止教育部统一各源流国语课程。”

沈桂贤：加速石角发展和提高人民福祉
过去四年，砂副总理兼石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤总共为选区落实27.21公里的乡间小路提升工程，让1千131户家庭享有平坦柏油路，从此告别原有的石子路。 他承诺，将继续通过提升基本设施来加速石角发展和提高人民福祉，除了推动大型发展计划，也会继续分阶段提升通往各个民宅的道路设施。 在这方面，经过巴达旺市议会完成测量和招标程序后，沈桂贤宣布，第五期提升石角区乡村石子路为柏油路工程正式开展。 “在这项计划下，来自石角选区12个地区的273户民众将享有完善的柏油路，他们将告别以往石子路，该计划涉及总长度为5.7公里道路。” 他是在巴达旺市议会主席陈开等陪同下，巡视正在施工中的石角上湾头其中一条道路提升工程后，发表上述谈话。 沈桂贤表示，过去石角地区许多前往私人民宅的道路都属於石子路，甚至是狭小的泥路，鉴于这种情况，从2020年开始便向砂拉越政府提出提升这些乡村小路的计划，让人民享受完善道路设施，有关计划也获得砂总理阿邦佐的支持和批准。 “2020年第一期计划，我们完成12.48公里的道路，受惠家庭有294户、2021年第二期有4.56公里的道路铺上柏油，受惠家庭426户、同年也进行第三期工程，让85户民众受惠，涉及的道路长3.55公里。” 他指出，去年完成0.92公里的道路，受惠家庭有53户，而今年则会进行长5.7公里的道路提升，涉及的12个地区分别是甘榜上湾头、甘榜史打博玛拉尤、史打博乌达玛、甘榜新纳布迪巴鲁、甘榜新纳布迪拉玛、民中路、新山肚B路、Kangkok路、金珠盛路、甲港、华顺路和西里益路。 “石角选区范围广泛，况且许多道路早前都是石子路，因此提升乡村道路的计划必须按照计划和分阶段进行。” 沈桂贤希望民众若有任何问题，都欢迎提出，大家携手，通过获得砂拉越政府支持，将石角发展与建设的更好。

沈桂贤：石角兴建第三个蓄水区
纵然面对气候变化和地方快速发展带来的大量降雨量，然而砂副总理兼石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤从未间断通过各种渠道解决各地区水患问题。 在经过与砂水利灌溉局探讨后，沈桂贤宣布，石角德莎威拉将兴建石角区第三个蓄水区，以作为舒缓该地区闪电水患问题。 他说，整个蓄水区以及提升和加强周边排水系统工程，总斥资2000万，估计工程需要花费20个月进行，这是属於砂拉越政府的人民计划。 沈桂贤是在巡视目前施工中德莎威拉区排水系统提升工程，并听取水利灌溉局官员汇报后，宣布这项发展消息。 日前沈桂贤已经宣布，砂政府批准在石角新市镇前方的空地，兴建第一个蓄水区，该计划耗资1千988万，工程从今年5月24日至2026年5月23日；而第二个蓄水区则建在Pine Square商业区，该工程总斥资2千250万零3077令吉，预计2026年11月23日竣工。 他表示，水利灌溉局已经根据公开招标程序对德莎威拉蓄水区展开相关工作，当中在今年7月刊登广告、同月也对工程地点进行实地勘察，而在8月完成招标。 沈桂贤指出，基于德莎威拉地势低洼，加上周边地区快速发展，以致该地区往往成为骤雨后，一雨成灾难题。 “解决德莎威拉水患问题不是现在才开始，也不是提升一两条沟渠便能解决，它需要全盘计划，因此通过提升内部沟渠，加大外围排水和兴建蓄水区，才能得到有效舒缓。” 此外，他说，目前在德莎威拉施工中的三项排水系统工程包括提升17B1/B2巷沟渠，总斥资超过354万、提升17B3/B4巷沟渠总斥资超过327万和提升17A6巷沟渠，总斥资超过437万，三项庞大提升沟渠工程，涉及的沟渠总长度为3843.6米，工程会在2025年2月完成。 沈桂贤承诺，解决排水系统问题不会有一个终点，因为降雨量的增加和周边建设发展，迫使政府需要时刻探讨和探究各种舒缓或减少水患发生的难题。

沈桂贤誓言继续为选区带来发展
砂副总理兼石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤宣布，2024年他将在选区内落实18项总额500万令吉的乡村转型发展计划，继续为选区带来发展和让民众受惠。 他表示，乡村转型发展计划，乃是砂拉越政府极力提升和改善地方发展，让人民享有更完成基本设施的发展策略。 “在上述发展项目中，大部分是改善选区内的排水系统，毕竟这方面的项目不是一两天就可以全面落实，排水系统涉及非常复杂和棘手技术问题，因此每年的乡村转型发展项目，都离不开排水工程。” 沈桂贤是见证巴达旺市议会移交提升石角路廉价房屋后巷沟渠工程给承包商仪式后，发表有关的谈话。 在这项计划下，石角路连接房屋第28A6和28A4的后巷沟渠将获得提升，总工程斥资37万6679令吉，并以公开招标方式由Q & Q Services获得。 提升该地区后巷排水系统，是沈桂贤中选为石角区议员迄今，从未间断的发展项目，由于需要提升的项目非常众多，因此是通过分阶段进行。 该住宅区前面的沟渠，已经从原有的泥沟提升至钢骨水泥，工程的落实，加宽了原有路面，方便居民泊车。 除了上述工程，将在今年进行的乡村转型发展排水系统项目包括修建石角路廉价房屋第24/24A1A/18/26/24巷后巷排水系统、德莎威拉第17A巷防护堤、杨国斯路2K1巷沟渠和甘榜实打博玛拉尤新排水系统。 至於建筑物项目则包括，提升甘榜新纳布迪巴鲁民众会堂、提升甘榜新纳布迪巴回教堂、提升石角路廉价房屋民众会堂五人制足球場及設施、提升甘榜新纳布迪拉玛回教堂、提升德莎威拉第20巷和5i民众会堂及提升和修建石角政府中学。 另外，也会提升石角第二巷Green Acres Estate的休闲公园，并且会推行石角西里益第一巷、金珠盛Kiung Kit路水管，以及继续 在石角推行第四期安装路灯项目。
