导致百物价格腾飞的因素众多,所以一些人士不能一昩以陕隘的思维来掩盖联邦政府执政的无能。 砂首长署政治秘书陈开今日是以文告方式,如是表示。 他说,我国的销售税与消费税税率只存在4%的差距,所以销售税政策的实施,又如何让进口果菜类显示50%到70%的降幅? “进口果菜类的大幅度降价,肯定还有其他原因造成的。比方说,中国或印度因为大量生产果菜类而出现的滞销,就可能是导致价格滑落的原因。” 他指出,将果菜类价格的大幅度下降现象硬和销售税政策扯上关系,并说成是销售税执行后带来的百物降价效应,简直是一种令人啼笑皆非的说法。 “若是如此,就请国内贸易及消费事务部副部长张健仁快点用使用销售税这个万灵丹,幇鱼虾类降价吧。毕竟,他只要去做些鱼虾类的市场调查,就会得到惊人的价格飙升数据。” 他再次强调,导致百物价格腾飞的因素众多,所以一些人士不能一昩以陕隘的思维来掩盖联邦政府执政的无能。 “其中,国际景气,各别国家的经济表现,货币汇率的表现,市场供需平衡等,就都可能是导致百物涨价的因素。”
许德婉:砂政府应使用移民自主权允许以色列运动员参赛
砂人联党中央妇女组主席许德婉呼吁砂拉越政党联盟(GPS)的领袖及同僚以超越政治和宗教的态度处理以色列选手被马来西亚政府禁止参加世界残障游泳赛这项课题,放行以色列选手进入砂拉越,让世界看见砂拉越对国际社会的友善和包容。 “我明白马来西亚是一个穆斯林国家,也尊重马来西亚的移民权力,不过我们砂拉越也有自己的移民自主权,砂拉越人也一直以砂拉越社会和谐及各族之间的互相包容感到自豪,因此在世界残障游泳赛上,我认为应该以超越政治和宗教的角度看待这件事情,让体育回归体育。” 许德婉在文告中回应联邦政府禁止以色列选手参加在古晋举行的世界残障游泳赛课题时解释,砂拉越作为马来西亚的平等伙伴,在《1963年马来西亚协议》的附件下被赋予移民自主权。 “我呼吁砂拉越政府坚持移民自主权,允许以色列游泳选手参加7月29日至8月4日在古晋举行的赛事。“ 她指出,国际残奥委员会在接受法新社(AFP)访问时,对砂拉越联邦政府禁止以色列选手进入国家的决定感到失望。 “英国工党的领袖们也在英国下议院促英国政府对马来西亚政府的决定表达抗议并建议另外寻找地点举办世界残障游泳赛。依目前的事态发展看来,砂拉越有可能因此丧失主办权。” 许德婉相信,允许以色列选手进入砂拉越有助于建立砂拉越对国际社会友善的正面形象;而且2019年也是砂拉越旅游年,放行以色列选手也有利于推广砂拉越的旅游业。 “就让我们敞开双手欢迎所有体育人,拥护奥林匹克推广互相了解、友谊、团结及公平竞争的精神。”

砂人联党青年团总团长程明智表示,首相敦马哈迪表明拒绝向以色列运动员发出签证,使他们无法参与在古晋举行的世界残疾人游泳锦标赛,等于让体育赛事染上政治色彩。 他强调,马来西亚是此项世界级赛事的东道主,在体育精神下,不能以政治或外交理由阻止以色列或任何国家运动员前来参赛。若按照马哈迪所说,马来西亚因为与以色列没有邦交,所以该国运动员不应前来马来西亚参赛,这是荒谬的理由。 他表示,拒绝以色列运动员前来马来西亚参赛,等于玷污奥林匹克促进有意、团结及公平竞争精神,因此马来西亚也不适合参加任何奥运会。 程明智发表文告指出,希盟政府领袖应挺身挑战马哈迪这项决定,因为这违背国人希望建立新马来西亚的意愿。 他说,2019年世界残疾人游泳锦标赛是砂拉越政府承办,砂拉越政府应使用1963年建国契约赋予砂拉越的移民自主权,允许以色列运动员直接飞抵砂拉越参赛。古晋是赛事的东道主,有权欢迎世界任何国家运动员前来参赛。 他认为,砂政府应在这课题上提出坚定立场,向联邦政府拒绝以色列运动员参赛的决定表达不同意见。砂拉越应该向全世界展示奥林匹克精神,超越政治的体育,秉持古晋为团结城市的风范,欢迎任何人前来。
陈超耀巡视小贩中心提升工程
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀今早与美里市政局市议员及工程师巡视美里海滨小贩中心的提升工程。 该工程耗资60万令吉,从今日起动工,预计今年3月20日完成,为期4个月。工程目的是增加50个桌子,让小贩及民众享有更好的环境。 陈超耀感谢小贩与美里市政局合作,暂时从原地搬迁,直到提升工程完工后才回到原地继续营业。他也感谢美里市政局帮助小贩提升营业环境。
