陈超耀：BKSS 8.0减轻砂人民负担
砂旅游助理部长拿督陈超耀律师表示，砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里今日公布总额2亿8547万令吉“我亲爱的砂拉越特别援助配套8.0”是符合时宜的，这将可减轻砂人民因冠病疫情导致的经济负担。 也是卑尔骚区议员兼砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长陈超耀发文告，欢迎阿邦佐哈里推出这项援助配套，砂政党联盟（GPS）在赢得第12届砂选举及组阁不久后，便推展一系列惠及砂人民措施，体现出以民为本的施政理念。 “今年是经历冠病疫情第3年，随着变异毒株奥密克戎的出现，冠病疫情还未露出结束的曙光，还在社区潜伏的病毒也继续危害人们的健康安全、生计及生命。” 陈超耀说，现阶段应对冠病疫情的主要方法，除了认真遵守砂灾难管理委员会及卫生部发出的标准作业程序之外，民众本身也需要积极接种疫苗和加强针，将风险减至最低。 他表示，尤其是目前正积极落实的接种加强针计划，尽管接种加强针无法百分百保证不会感染冠病，但至少它能提高身体免疫力对抗冠病病毒，将重症和死亡几率降低。 “在最大程度保障生命安全后，接着便是大家所关注的生计和福利课题。在阿邦佐哈里领导下，砂政府体恤人民的困境，因此在我亲爱的砂拉越特别援助配套8.0中推出7项措施，帮助各领域人民和企业渡过这段艰难时期。” 在今日宣布的援助配套中，砂政府继续提供水电费折扣优惠至今年6月份，其中全砂64万7000户住宅、商业及工业用户将享有5％至25％电费折扣，以及10％至25％水费折扣。 此外，房屋发展机构的租户从1至6月获得50％房租折扣，约3200名租户受惠。在政府法定机构及官联公司营业的中小型企业也可豁免租金。 与此同时，地方议会管辖下小贩及摊位可享有50％租金折扣，以及一次性发放500令吉给船夫、客货车业者、德士司机、巴士业者及学生巴士业者。砂政府也一次性发放1000令吉特别援助金给8万7500名小商贩。 陈超耀强调，砂盟政府将继续关注砂人民福祉，确保落实的政策及惠民措施都惠及每个阶层人民。 他也提醒砂人民继续注重防疫，尤其是奥密克戎变异毒株的出现，使冠病更容易传播。在来临农历新年，每个人都必须好好照顾自己、家人及身边人的安全，希望大家都度过一个美好的佳节。

砂中央医院设永久混合式冠病重症加护病房
砂拉越政府将在砂拉越中央医院设立永久混合式冠病重症加护病房，以便在隔离冠病患者的同时，不会影响中央医院的日常运作。 副首席部长拿督阿玛道格拉斯在拿督斯里沈桂贤的陪同下巡视并审查古晋砂拉越中央医院新安装的设施后披露，相关永久冠病重症加护病房将设有36张床位，而建设工作将于2月份开始进行。 “我们正在试图重新调整（医院）的用途，包括设立一些永久性的措施，例如上述提及的相关36张冠病重症加护病床。” 也是砂灾难管理委员会主席的道格拉斯说，当冠病疫情到来时，这里就可以用来隔离受感染较严重的患者，以便中央医院能够正常运作并保持清洁（免受冠病感染）。 另一方面，他表示高兴看到由砂政府资助的36个通风点的安装已经完成。 他说，由于该医院之前的通风空调数量不足，因此砂拉越政府就通过砂灾难管理委员会捐赠了130万令吉用以安装额外的通风点。 此外，在回应媒体提及有关于去年5月开始设立在加帛医院的武装部队野战医院时，道格拉斯表示原本充作帮助治疗非冠病患者的该野战医院现在已经关闭。 他解释说，由于目前确诊病例数量已经大为减少，因此当诗巫的医院足以处理患者时，目前就不需要额外的治疗中心。 道格拉斯也祈祷此情况能维持下去，以便人们可以很快恢复正常的生活。 他指出，尽管人们仍然必须佩戴口罩，甚少再看到人们的笑容，不过餐馆或理发店等商店都已开放。而他也提醒民众仍需继续保持谨慎，毕竟大家并还没完全打赢这场疫情战役，尤其在即将欢庆华人农历新年之际，所有砂人都应负责任的谨慎欢庆，以免导致疫情的升温。

陈超耀：民众希望放宽新春SOP
砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部助理部长（旅游）拿督陈超耀律师表示，不少人希望砂灾难管理委员会放宽农历新年标准作业程序，他建议该委员会认真考虑所有诉求，在安全防疫的范围内，允许举办一些新春传统活动。 也是砂人联党卑尔骚区议员的陈超耀指出，目前砂拉越处于国家复甦计划第4阶段，社交活动已经放宽，包括允许举办婚礼等社交晚宴。 “在这情况下，一些社团对早前公布禁止举办新春晚宴的标准作业程序感到不解。有人认为既然可以举办婚礼或其他周年晚宴，但唯独新春晚宴却遭禁止，似乎不符合逻辑。” 他对社团公会的心声表示了解，毕竟每逢农历新年举办的新春晚宴，是每个社团增进会员情谊，促进乡情的传统活动。亦有社团趁新春晚宴颁发敬老红包，提倡敬老尊贤美德，传承中华优良传统文化。 他说，从接获的反映，酒楼餐馆业者也对禁办新春晚宴的标准作业程序感到忧心仲仲，因为社团晚宴是他们重要收入来源之一。在经济领域全面开放之际，禁办新春晚宴似乎与政府致力推动的经济复甦计划背道而驰。 因此，陈超耀建议砂灾难管理委员会允许社团公会举办新春晚宴，或许可如婚礼及其他社交晚宴般落实限制出席人数及维持人身距离等标准作业程序，将风险减至最低。 此外，许多舞狮团体一早筹备今年农历新年的演出，但此前公布禁止舞狮舞龙表演的标准作业程序让他们感到措手不及，大感意外。许多团体希望砂灾难管理委员会能放宽标准作业程序，允许他们在遵守标准作业程序下，在一些场合或住家进行演出。 陈超耀表示，联邦政府发出的新春标准作业程序并没禁止舞狮舞龙活动，许多本地人因此感到混淆。他希望砂灾难管理委员会关注舞狮团体的心声，在一些场合和情况下，允许舞狮舞龙演出。 他也指出，早前公布的新春标准作业程序仅限除夕、大年初一及元宵节与近亲家属庆祝。他希望大年初二也允许民众与近亲家属庆祝活动，毕竟经过超过两年的疫情，以及过去行动管制令的影响，大家都需要更多时间相聚。 他说，在砂人民齐心协力，发挥团结精神下，砂拉越成功克服数波疫情来袭，将原本高居不下的确诊数字降低。目前砂每天确诊数字维持在个位数或双位数，显示疫情比之前已经大有改善，这有赖全民高度配合，谅解与牺牲。 “在疫情取得改善下，或许应该让民众享有更大的自由，庆祝来临的农历新年。我相信，许多人已经习惯防疫和自律的生活，能够好好保护自己和身边人。” 他建议需要出席晚宴或聚会的民众，事前1，2小时先自行检测，以及戴好口罩，在有必要时，比如用餐期间才摘下。若身体感到不适，也应该自动自发避免出席任何聚会。 “愿每个人都度过称心如意的农历新年，继续保持健康平安。”
RM 30 millions budget approved to expand Ulu sg. Merah Road, says Michael Tiang

Water pipe burst at Jalan Kim Chu Shin
Residents at Jalan Kim Chu Shin had their water supply cut off temporarily after a landslide along the road caused its water pipe to burst this morning. Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tan Kai said the constant rain caused a section of the road to collapse. He said they were alerted by the residents there and the Kuching Water Board was immediately informed. Works to connect the water pipes was done and the contractor closed the road for maintenance.
