大型砂石船阻碍河流交通
砂人联党青年团总团长陈开接获渔民投诉,指达万河(Sg Tabuan)出现砂石船阻碍河上交通。 他指出,巨型的砂石船是串行达万河,负责运载砂石给当地某间工厂。不过,由于砂石船体积庞大,往往阻碍了古晋新渔村的渔船串行该河流。 “渔船公会已经就此事投诉了一段时间。起初,我有亲自向相关公司业者反映这项问题,不过问题至今没有解决。” 陈开呼吁相关机构,包括砂拉越河流局能关注这项问题,并且将会此问题向砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员转达。

Problem faced by fishermen at Sg Apong
Hugh barges ferrying stones and sand at Sg Tabuan which was berthed near CMS cement plant bridge has brought a lot of trouble to fishermen at Sg Apong who plied along the area. Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) for Bawang Assan
A total of 56 projects under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) totalling RM1.62 million have been approved for implementation in the Bawang Assan area, according to SUPP Bawang Assan chairman Robert Lau Hui Yew.
