陈超耀希望联邦政府关注无国籍儿童课题

砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长兼卑尔骚区候任议员拿督陈超耀律师强调,砂拉越人民联合党向来极为重视女性及儿童权益,希望联邦政府能继续关注无国籍儿童课题,确保受该课题困扰的孩子及家庭,能很快迎来曙光。 他指出,上诉庭三司于2021年12月22日一致驳回联邦政府提出的申请,不批准暂缓执行大马母亲与外籍配偶在海外产下的孩子可自动享有大马国籍的判决。以拿督斯里卡玛鲁丁为首的上诉庭三司同意大马母亲的代表律师陈词,即此案不涉及资产或金钱,而是有关孩童的权利,该权利已得到高庭的承认。 早前,吉隆坡高庭于2021年9月作出标杆性裁决,承认大马母亲在海外产下的孩子有权享有大马国籍,并要求发出与公民身份相关的文件。而吉隆坡高庭也在11月15日驳回政府针对该判决的暂缓令申请。 “砂拉越人民联合党非常关注大马母亲与外籍配偶,在海外产下的孩子是否能自动享有大马国籍的案件,随着上诉庭作出最新的裁决,我们希望此引起广泛关注的争议能告一段落。” 他说,诚如大马女性及家庭前线者组织代表律师乔舒亚所言,上诉庭的裁决等于承认孩童及其家属所经历的情况和困难。希望他们能前来与家人团聚,能以大马公民的身份,而非外籍人士,就读公立学校、使用医疗及其他公共设施。这是他们多年来被剥夺的权利。 砂拉越人民联合党希望联邦政府能全面尊重上诉庭的裁决,而非继续上诉至联邦法院。因为一旦如此,此案可能需要耗时数年才能审结,这对案件中的孩子及母亲是不公平的。 他也强调,砂拉越人民联合党对面对类似问题的女性表示同情,过去由于申请程序繁冗,无论是孩子或母亲都承受极大痛苦,有些可怜的孩子甚至无法像本地籍孩子一样,享有医疗及教育福利,长期遭受异样眼光。


程明智:捍卫砂权益唯有靠本土执政党

砂人联党青年总团长程明智全力支持,必须要有砂拉越代表在联邦部门里,熟悉相关部门的行政事务,并为砂拉越争取应有的利益。 他强调,捍卫及争取砂拉越应有的权益,只有依靠砂拉越本土的执政党,不能依赖马来亚的政党或砂拉越的代理人,这并非是竞选时期所说的话,而是一个事实。 亦是柏拉旺州区候任议员的程明智表示,砂首长丹斯里阿邦佐哈里已提出争取砂拉越的代表在内陆税收局里,以了解税收的数据与来自砂拉越的税收情况,并且还可以要求,将砂拉越税收中的20%及30%收入,归还给砂拉越。 他指出,首长强调这只是其中一个例子,也就意味着砂拉越会作出争取,让一些联邦部门里,必须要有砂拉越的代表在内。 程明智称,首长领导的砂政盟,为砂拉越的权益作出捍卫,以及向联邦索取1963年大马契约,砂拉越所应享有的权益,包括所列明的自主权,必须获得砂拉越同胞给予全力支持。 他也表示,当国会于日前修宪,确定1963年大马契约,砂拉越及沙巴同马来亚是建国伙伴关系,也是砂拉越在力争砂自主权向前迈进的一大步,证明砂政盟,包括砂人联党在内争取砂拉越应有权益,并非仅是口号。 他称,有马来亚为总部的在野党砂拉越领袖,却企图要“骑劫”砂拉越人民所作出的此项努力,归功于这些在野党所谓的“施压”,是种非常低劣的政治宣传手法。 程明智强调,希盟阵营,包括行动党在内,之前执政联邦22个月,曾有推出牵涉1963年大马契约为议题的修宪,由于并无实际带给砂拉越实惠,因此没有获得砂盟给予支持。
