Batu Kawah State Assemblyman, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian thanks SCOVAG and Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) for carrying the mission on behalf of the Sarawak Government by ensuring continuity of service for the people of Sarawak, including acquiring the casirivimab/imdevimab (“Ronapreve”) for Category 4 patients with COVID19.
“Public hospitals in Sarawak are the only hospitals to have this medicine which was APPROVED by NPRA, KKM as recent on 14 Dec. We thanked the State government for providing the funding for this very expensive medicines before DUN dissolved (few thousands per dose). As hChuef Minister, Datuk Pattinggi Abang Johari had always said, our Sarawakian’s lives are worth a lot more than just few thousands, ” said Dr. Sim.
He said by working together, we shall overcome the challenges of COVID19 in Sarawak.
