Activities for children launched at the (PERKATA) Special school
A series of activities was launched at the (PERKATA) Special school recently for the children there. 泗里街青年团积极拜访居民
砂拉越泗里街支部青年团积极走访长屋拜访居民，与居民们交流。 首长署政治秘书邓文武表示，这是青年团的例常活动，以强化基层对于人联党的支持。 他说，在良好的道路设施下，他们可以在一天内走访数个长屋。 除了争取居民们对于人联党的支持之外，也希望借此拜访居民，可以巩固国阵的基层势力。 虽然被视为是来届国选出战泗里街的候选人人选之一，不过邓文武表示，他交由国阵领导层决定最终出战的人选。

Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Local Government Minister recently attended the ground breaking ceremony of SJKC Stampin relocation by the Minister of Education Malaysia Datuk Sri Mahdzir. 沈桂贤争取民都鲁医院设立爱心宿舍
砂拉越地方部长拿督沈桂贤表示，他接下来将向联邦妇女、家庭与社会发展部部长拿督斯里罗哈尼提议，希望在民都鲁医院也设立一所关爱宿舍。 他表示，目前砂拉越共有3所关爱宿舍，设立在古晋的中央医院，以及诗巫和美里医院。 他称，这些关爱宿舍的设立，并非是相关部长是来自砂拉越，因此对本地特别“关照”，而是因为砂州地理环境因素，病人家属到医院探病往往需要在外留宿所致。 “不像西马，当地道路设施系统良好，方便往来住家和医院之间。” 沈桂贤说，早在2011年时，他就发现有病人的家属，因没地方下榻，所以晚上睡在医院地板上，这让他感触颇深。 因此，他希望政府关爱宿舍的设立，可以解决这项问题。 沈桂贤是于日前出席砂拉越中央医院的关爱宿舍开幕礼后受访时，这么表示。 他指出，位于三马拉汉的心脏专科中心也有一所关爱宿舍，而与一般政府医院不同的是，当地的关爱宿舍是由砂拉越心脏基金会出资兴建，运作至今已经有一年。

SJK(C) Chung Hua Krokop walkathon
Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting officiated the walkaton organised by SJK(C) Chung Hua Krokop. He said this is a national wide program sponsored by Dutch Lady. Assistance for fire victims at Rumah Saba in Sarikei
Hope Place teamed up with Sibu 4×4 Owners Club on Friday to deliver food and necessities to the 17 families of Rumah Saba in Sarikei whose longhouse was gutted by fire recently. 沈桂贤移交拨款予41个团体
砂地方政府部长兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤于日前在人联党总部移交拨款支票予41个受惠团体。 他透露，去年上任砂地方政府部长之后至年杪，总共拨出500万令吉款项予有需要的社团团体；而今年2017年，单是从1月至今，短短四个月内就已拨出515万令吉款项给予超过80个团体。 他说，这些款项分别来自三个来源即国会上议员拨款、州议员拨款及地方政府部门拨款，受惠的团体包括各宗教团体、政府学校、华校独中、华社及其他民族社团等。 沈桂贤表示，每个国阵选区州议员都可获得500万令吉的发展项目拨款以及200万令吉的社团拨款，因此他希望各选区的社团组织可以向他们的人民代议士寻求拨款援助，确保能获得足够的经费来推动社团活动。 另一方面，他指出，由于向他寻求协助的社团团体数量太多，以他个人的拨款数额无法兼顾到所有人的要求，仅能尽力而为给予协助，因此他希望各选区的社团组织也能向选区州议员提出申请。 他说，虽然本身兼任国会上议员、石角州议员及地方政府部长的身份可获得联邦和州政府拨出的款项，但由于太多社团向他寻求协助，在僧多粥少的情况下，还是不足以应付各选区社团组织的需求。 “我只能尽力而为，虽然拨出的款项数目不多，但也是小小心意，希望可以帮助到社团进行各项有利社会发展的活动。”
古晋希望之家援助泗里街灾黎
古晋希望之家与诗巫四轮驱动车俱乐部，于上周五在泗里街运送食物和用品予泗里街Rumah Saba长屋17户家庭，他们的长屋于日前遭遇火患。 这些物资价值超过1万令吉，是通过货柜寄往诗巫，再由诗巫四轮驱动车俱乐部协助载送至泗里街。 在场见证移交仪式者包括砂人联党马拉东区州议员拿督陈冠勋和首长政治秘书邓文武。 目前，灾黎已经拥有足够的食物和衣物，只是缺乏重建家园的建筑材料，如屋瓦和木板等。
肯雅兰饮食中心小贩频遭偷窃事件
砂人联青宣教秘书符祥威律师揭露，肯雅兰菜市场饮食中心的小贩，过去以来经常遭小偷“光顾”，偷走营业用品和煤气桶等，令小贩苦不堪言。 这些小贩相信是在晚上10时至清晨6时之间，趁小贩生意打烊时干案。 由于频遭洗劫，部分小贩逼不得已自掏腰包重新维修锁头和铁闸，令原本生意难做的小贩，更是雪上加霜，得应付额外开销。一些小贩为了避免小偷上门，不惜将摊位锁上铁花。 而一直都是小偷目标的煤气桶，则必须上锁，避免被偷走。 小贩们希望符祥威代为请命，向当局反映当地治安不佳问题，积极采取行动遏制偷窃事件继续发生。 他们建议当局在饮食中心装置电眼，以起着阻遏罪案的作用。 符祥威对此表示，他将会向古晋南市市政局反映此事，希望获得对方关注，马上采取必要行动。
