Request from Kota Sentosa Commercial area traders for better road
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) was recently approached by the business community of Kota Sentosa Commercial area. Those trading in the old 7th Mile Bazaar and hawkers trading in the market had asked for his assistance to request Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP) to carry out improvement works for the whole stretch of road in front of the bus stop of the market between the two (2) traffic lights to be tar sealed instead of just patching works as was done previously.
The hawkers and traders also further requested that the road by the side of Kota Sentosa town square to be tar sealed due to the uneven road condition which causes it to be water logged at certain section after it rains.
According to the traders and hawkers, their request is made because of the heavy traffic using the whole stretch of the road in front of the bus stop of the market between the two (2) traffic lights and the road by the side of Kota Sentosa Town Square.
SUPP PCB have now been informed by MPP officers from the Engineering Department that tar sealing works will commence as soon as they complete the measurement and costing works for tar sealing the whole stretch of the road in front of the bus stop of the market between the two (2) traffic lights and the road by the side of Kota Sentosa town square.
