徙置区地主受促踊跃申请更新飞退款
砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督斯里沈桂贤透露，砂政府已将徙置区地契更新费回扣申请限期延长至今年12月31日。但是，目前仍有逾百符合申请退款的地主未申请退款。 “原本于10月31日截止的徙置区地契更新费退款申请，鉴于尚有许多徙置区地主未申请，而政府允许延长申请期限至年杪。” 也是砂人联党石角区州议员的沈桂贤在石角服务中心召开新闻发布会时指出，目前石角区有467洛（lot）地主已申请索取退款，然而该区仍有161洛符合资格的地主仍未申请。实旦宾（八点地）徙置区有97地主仍未申请，新渔村也有33地主未申请。 他说，石角支部服务中心也有协助石角区符合资格申请上述退款者申请退款，相关地主可以携带相关文件到该服务中心寻求协助索取退款。至于其他徙置区地主也可到各区人联党支部寻求协助。 所需携带的文件包括身份证副本、遗嘱认证副本（如有）、收据副本/土地税捐簿、银行首页资料副本、及地契副本，所需文件副本各3份。据了解，徙置区在过去缴付地契更新费高达5千至1万令吉不等，均可申请回扣。如过去缴付了高达1万令吉地契更新费，则可申请回扣高达7千500令吉回扣。

沈桂贤：砂可仿效澳洲制度设立国会
砂人联党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤表示，砂拉越可仿效澳洲议会制度，设立自己的国会。 他说，澳洲有维多利亚国会及昆士兰国会，砂拉越不是马来西亚第13州，而是成立马来西亚的平等伙伴。 也是砂地方政府及房屋部长的沈桂贤，今日在砂盟大会上致词时表示，在砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里领导下，砂拉越将设立边界及海岸警卫队，防护自己的边界。砂人民必须保护砂拉越的利益。 他指出，希盟执政联邦政府后，减少对砂发展拨款，因此砂人民必须捍卫自己的利益，确保砂可以持续发展。 “希盟联邦政府总对砂拉越说没钱，但他们可拨款16亿兴建吉打机场，以及在槟城拨款15亿令吉落实轻快铁计划。” 沈桂贤表示，西马州属发展的钱，都是来自砂拉越。联邦政府每天从砂拉越获得2亿令吉收入，对砂的回报却是微不足道。 他说，来届砂州选举将是十分激烈，因为希盟将尽全力夺权，而联邦乡村社区管理委员会是其中一个分裂砂人民的策略。为了应对这个挑战，砂人民必须团结。 他指出，年龄介于18至21岁者，一旦有资格投票，他们将占砂选民总数的40%，这对砂盟来说亦是全新挑战。因此，砂盟必须摒弃传统的竞选模式，采取全新竞选方式，比如善用科技产品，在竞选工作上更加聪明。 “手机可辅助竞选工作，我们必须统一组织，宣传及竞选活动，这是非常重要的策略。而且，来临州选是关键战役，每个人须有‘砂拉越人为砂拉越’的思想，不管身在何地，都必须以砂拉越利益为重。”
阿邦佐哈里：砂盟治理砂绝不会破产
砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里强调，在砂政党联盟（GPS）治理下，砂拉越绝对不会破产。 也是砂盟主席的阿邦佐哈里今日在砂盟大集会上，向逾5000名出席者说，在第11大马计划中，砂共耗资371亿令吉用于发展用途，至于联邦政府在第11大马计划对砂拨款数额，只有204亿令吉。 “若按照希盟联邦政府财长林冠英说法，以上述巨额花费，砂肯定以破产。但，如今砂政府仍有320亿令吉储备金，这显示砂不会破产。明年开始的第12大马计划，在砂盟治理下，砂拉越不会破产。” 他说，砂政府将继续发展基础设施，包括兴建第二主干大道、桥梁及水电供应设施等。同时，实巴荷及双溪杜诺的机场跑道，也会在第12大马计划下兴建。 他表示，砂盟对砂拉越有详细发展策划，但不能在计划宣布后，马上见到成效。 “有些人听到砂盟政府连续两年财政预算案花费约100亿令吉，大感惊讶，其实我们有自己的资源及发展模式。懂得经济学的人都会知道，税收收入是波动，不是固定的，它是政府主要经济收入来源。” “因此，砂政府有权力征收税收，这是宪法赋予的权力。我们有丰富资源，可征收销售税，尤其是石油及天然气销售税。” 阿邦佐哈里强调，砂盟懂得“找钱”，不会一直依靠联邦政府拨款推动发展。 出席今日砂盟大会者包括砂副首长兼人民党主席丹斯里詹姆士玛欣、人联党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤及民进党主席拿督斯里张庆信。
符祥威：砂应设高庭主簿署
砂人联党青年总团秘书长符祥威律师认为，砂拉越理应需设立属于砂拉越的高庭主簿署，以反映出马来西亚三邦地位，毕竟砂拉越拥有个别的律师公会、州总检察长和州警察总监。 同时，他说，砂拉越和沙巴也必须拥有各自的大法官。 他发表文告指出，国会应该修改联邦宪法第121（1）（b）条文和1964年法庭司法法令，以反映1963年大马建国契约的真实精神及符合砂拉越自主权的理念。 他希望，砂盟18位国会议员能帮助砂拉越在国会提呈这项动议，就上述法律做出修改，并获得全体来自砂拉越的国会议员的支持，不分党派政营，毕竟大家都是以砂拉越人的身份自居并以砂拉越为先的理念而作出奋斗与努力。令他觉得荒谬的是，尽管马来西亚拥有3个个别独立的律师公会，却只有两个高庭主簿署，即马来亚高庭主簿署和砂沙高庭主簿署。 符祥威强调，马来亚、砂拉越与沙巴高庭主簿署必须处于平等地位。同时，若从高庭上诉到上诉庭的案件是来自砂拉越，在三司听审中至少有一位上诉庭法官必须是来自砂拉越的法官，以显彰司法公平公正以及对砂拉越的尊重。 符祥威今日发文告时也提到，所有透过罚款和法庭备案费所获得的收入必须用作于各别相关法庭建筑物的保养和维修费，因为我们不希望看到砂拉越法庭成为像砂拉越一些残旧学校一样，残旧不堪。
