Miri council signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Municipality of La Trinidad to establish a friendship city to promote tourism, culture and Arts. State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang vented his frustration at the Federal government for not taking care of the plights of stateless Sarawakian children.
In a press conference yesterday, Lo said he wanted to make known his feelings of anger at the unfeeling Federal government who did not see the need to give citizenship to the stateless children whose lives are in limbo. 砂人联党石角州选区服务中心本月18日（周六）及19日（周日）特别开放，以率先为民众提供申请肯雅兰金卡服务。 位于石角的拿督斯里沉桂贤石角州选区服务中心进行上述的日期时间早上8时30分至中午12时，提供给公众方便进行协助肯雅兰金卡手续。 民众欲知详情，可联络石角州选区服务中心，电话号码：082-528932 由砂盟执政的砂拉越政府推出惠及砂拉越乐龄人的肯雅兰金卡，凡是今年1月1日起年满60岁的砂拉越人，可开始向有关当局提出申请，并赋予其特别优惠 和折扣。 凡是大马公民及身份证上有“ K”字符，且居住在砂拉越的60岁以上乐龄人，可向砂社会福利局，省公署，县公署及副县索取表格，并在填写资料后， 交给砂社会福利局即可。 此外，乐龄人也可从砂福利，社区和谐，妇女，家庭和儿童发展部及砂社会福利局网站下载申请表格。 这场为乐龄人量身定制的计划于去年内部阁会议中通过，推出肯雅兰金卡是符合时宜的，好让乐龄人在退休后仍可享有所有权优惠。 目前全砂已有几十个合作“伙伴企业”，包括超市，巴士服务，健康食品，餐饮，医疗保健，诊所和药剂师行等。她希望未来有更多商家参与此计划，尤其是健康与保健 领域方面。 另外，砂政府提供的洗肾津贴不分年龄限制，但其他条件包括必须是砂拉越人或定居在砂拉越，非公务员，退休公务员或社险贡献者，属于B40和M40民族，没获得任何政府机构， 私人机构的医疗津贴或援助等。
民众关注肯雅兰金卡申请程序
砂福利、社区和谐、妇女、家庭及儿童发展部长花蒂玛阿都拉宣布落实由砂政府所推出的肯雅兰金卡后，人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星接获许多民众询问有关申请金卡的程序。 砂首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里于3月7日为肯雅兰金卡主持启动仪式，但是现已开放符合资格的民众办理申请肯雅兰金卡手续。金卡持有者将享有各领域的折扣优惠，包括有超市、巴士服务、健康食品、饮食店、牙医诊所等。 民众可在办公时间前往人联党公共投诉局索取表格或访问kwkpk.sarawak.gov.my 网页下载肯雅兰金卡表格。 人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对申请程序问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。60岁以上的乐龄人士如若有任何疑问可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082246999）或亲临人联党总部。

SUPP youth Sec-gen, Milton Foo lending a helping hand
SUPP Youth Secretary general, Milton Foo helped residents of Kenyalang Park Selatan 2 to fill up application for the Kenyalang Gold card and Bantuan Ihsan Kematian this morning. Foo said he went to Kenyalang Park to assist a resident who told him to help filled the forms as he has difficulty in walking. After arriving there, the resident was not in and neighbours who came out and saw him seek his help. Six persons forms were filled and submitted to the welfare department for process.
