Piasau Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting joined Che Sing Khor annual event of giving food ration to the needy families recently.
A total of 100 people received a 10kg rice pack.
Ting said Miriams are a giving lot and always ready to help the less fortunate. He added that such activitied should be taught to the younger generation to be more giving and caring.
