Receiving Certificate of Site possession

State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang was happy for the residents of Kampung Buinga Rampai who got their Certificate of Site possession for proposed single storey terrace houses on Lot 697 to 754, Block 11, Senggi Poak Land District at Kampung Bunga Rampai, Off Jalan Bau, Kuching. The residents received the certificates from the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Sarawak.

He said the certificate generally grant the contractor exclusive possession of the site until completion and it was a memorial day for the kampung folks as they have waited for over 35 years for such a project to be carried out.

The construction period for the proposed 122 units of single storey terraced houses is expected to take about 21 months involving an estimated cost of RM23 million. With the completiton of the project, the issues related to food and landslides will also be a thing of the past.

Witnessing today’s signing and handing over of Certificate to the contractor, Saratech Sdn. Bhd. are N13 Batu Kitang, YB Lo Khere Chiang, Mr Mohamad Asman Ahmad, CEO of HDC, Ms Anielia Ak Siam, Bau District Officer and Kpg Bunga Rampai, Head of Kampung Bunga Rampai, HJ Rafaee Bin Hj. Bujang.

Mohamad Asman assures that HDC will monitor the status of the project to ensure the project is conpleted within the scheduled period.
