砂人联党领袖于昨日到布城，向副首相拿督斯里阿末扎希贺节。 出席的领袖包括党主席拿督沈桂贤、秘书长拿督陈超耀律师、副主席拿督李景胜和芦勃区州议员拿督斯里范长锡。 另外，人民党主席丹斯里詹玛欣也一同向副揆贺节。
Raya visit to Deputy Prime Minister’s residence
Deputy Chief Minister, Tan Sri Dr. James Masing, who is also the President of Parti Raykat Sarawak and Minister of Local Government, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, visited the Deputy Prime Minister residence at Sri Satria, Putrajaya on Saturday. 沈桂贤：砂不应以州属自居
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤呼吁首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿德南沙登在向联邦争取自主权时，以秉持砂拉越并非是马来西亚内“州属”的立场。 他强调，这是因为在1963年，砂拉越是以平等伙伴，而非州属的地位参组马来西亚。 他认为，砂拉越既然强调平起平坐，就不应该以州属的地位自居。 他亦建议不再自称州政府或州议会，而直接称呼砂政府或砂议会。 沈桂贤是在学者再纳阿查玛因的《The Grand Design》新书推展礼上致词时，这么表示。 他称，砂拉越一直强调当年是参组马来西亚，但却一直以“州”自称，别人怎么称呼无法理会，但砂拉越不应以州属自居。 他认为这需要进行大量的教育工作，才能纠正过来。 惟他强调，这并非不尊敬马来西亚，也并非不同意马来西亚联邦的存在，而事实上砂拉越子女也从军保卫马来西亚，不仅仅是捍卫砂拉越。 沈桂贤表示，砂拉越已参组马来西亚53年，就犹如在婚姻中必须自我检讨，但重申并非重新谈判，而是争取原有的权益。 他感到欣慰首相同意继续探讨砂拉越的地位，希望所有人团结一致，作为首长丹斯里阿德南的后盾，唯有如此才能达致目标。 “否则即使在同一个争取自主权的口号下，

石角支部开斋节拜访活动
砂人联党主席兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤于开斋节第三天，与石角支部党员一起拜访马来同胞，向他们献上开斋节祝贺。 他很惊讶发现，一些中年马来同胞说得一口流利客家话及华语。 在询问下，原来他们从小与华人生活在一起，彼此沟通，从中学会说些客家话与华语。 无论如何，他感到遗憾的是，年轻的马来一代已经没有机会像父母那样会说华语。他认为，有必要设法找回这种美好的传统，促进各族之间的情谊。

符祥威：黄顺舸无诚信应马上辞官
砂人联党青年团宣教秘书符祥威律师今日强调，拿督斯里黄顺舸应该辞去本州第二财长官职，因为他明显选择保留在联民党，而联民党并非国阵成员党，意味着他没有在国阵以内。 他说，黄顺舸的这项决定，与他在第11届砂拉越选举前做出的承诺背道而驰。当时，为何符合成为国阵直属候选人的国阵章程，他必须从联民党退党，并在选举后加入国阵成员党。 黄顺舸不应该忘记他是在国阵旗帜下竞选并胜出，全程依靠国阵的竞选机制。 他随后还在国阵州政府下受委为国阵部长。 在选举后回到联民党，还担任掌舵人，黄顺舸显然无意遵从他之前对国阵的承诺，漠视与践踏国阵精神与原则。 “有鉴于此，我们相信，黄顺舸没有资格担任州内阁部长，应马上辞职。” 反观9名国阵直属议员，并没选择回到联民党或砂人民自强党，而是继续成为国阵一份子，遵从他们对于国阵的承诺。这种诚信值得赞扬与尊重。 同时，对于人民党青年团宣教秘书碧苏朗通过文告捍卫国阵的精神与原则，亦应该值得赞扬。
两哩半民宅遭遇强风破坏
两哩半大石路柏玛达花园第一巷（Lorong Permata 1）于本月6日傍晚遭受强风吹袭，导致5间房屋的屋顶被掀起，居民损失惨重。 事发后，砂人联党巴都林当支部主席薛华东及北市行政委员拿督黄鸿圣第一时间向居民伸出援手。 砂地方政府部长兼人联党主席拿督沈桂贤于今日上午巡视当地时，也承诺会尽量协助居民。 在场者包括人联青总团长陈开、宣教秘书符祥威、公共投诉局主任叶耀星及社区领袖。 沈桂贤指示各单位进行清理工作，而人联党随后会协助居民为房屋盖上临时的顶盖。 他强调，他会设法帮助居民向州政府获取更多援助。
风灾袭击三哩民宅
三哩大圣爷路（慈云后面）的一些民宅于本月6日傍晚遭受风灾袭击，导致有房屋屋顶被掀起，砂电力局和电讯公司柱子倒下和一些屋子出现电流中断问题。 砂人联党巴都吉当州议员罗克强在第一时间前往现场巡视，援助居民。 他感谢所有单位，包括消拯局、砂电力局、电讯公司、警方和民防局，还有邻近民众的协助。
