人联党代党8项提案
砂拉越人民联合党于今日召开中委会会议。 在会议上，也讨论并通过常年党员代表大会提出的8项提案，其中包括要求砂政府设立航空公司，以为本地提供更好的航空服务。 砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤今日主持中委会会议后在新闻发布会上表示，许多党员代表提出对于现有航空服务的不满，包括来自外省如诗巫和民都鲁的代表，均表示航空服务有待改善。 “因此，人联党认为砂政府有必要设立航空公司，改善航空服务。” 另外，沈桂贤强调，今日议决通过对提案，将会由不同的党领袖负责每个提案，这是确保党代产生的提案可以得到跟进与落实。 以下为人联党中委会所通过的8项党代提案： 1. 全力支持首席部长推动争取砂拉越自主权的倡议。 2. 坚持捍卫联邦宪法为国家至高无上的地位，反对一切由回教党或诚信党所提呈的私人法案（修改伊斯兰刑事管辖权355法案），因为这将最终造成回教刑事法在马来西亚的落实。 3. 人联党呼吁联邦政府提供不分种族的公平公职机会，并从优处理砂拉越公民争取联邦公职。 4. 人联党呼吁联邦及州政府提供更多廉价房屋计划给予中等及低收入群体。 5. 人联党支持儿童性侵刑事法典的修改，以为儿童提供更好的保护。 6. 人联党要求砂拉越政府成立以砂拉越人为主的金融机构，以刺激及辅助砂拉越经济与市场，让其更具有效率。 7. 为了提供更好的本地与内陆的航空航线，人联党要求砂拉越政府成立以砂拉越人主导的航空公司。 8. 为了抑制通货膨胀的压力，人联党要求联邦与砂拉越政府拟定对策，并提供更多就业机会。
人联党中央常年党代
砂拉越人民联合党于今日在党总部团结厅召开常年代表大会。 截至上午9时30分开幕礼为止，全砂共有308名代表出席今日大会。 党主席拿督沈桂贤在发表开幕词时，强调人联党上下必须团结一致迎战预计在明年举行的第14届全国选举。他呼吁准候选人积极在基层走动，为人民服务，以争取人民的支持。 他同时也强调，希望全砂拉越的华人都能够团结在一起，这样华人才可以发挥更大的力量。 他表示，在这方面必须向砂土保党学习，该党的力量强大，是因为党足够团结。 他希望华裔选民知道，为什么华人“声音”不够洪亮，那是因为目前华人不够团结。 沈桂贤指出，他已经告知首相兼国阵主席拿督斯里纳吉，人联党已经摆脱过去党内分裂的问题，党内只有“一个声音”。他称，两年前，人联党处于被吊销注册的边缘，不过当时庆幸有首长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登和首相纳吉，让人联党免于被吊销。而生存下来之后，人联党开始迈向复苏，重现过去的辉煌。 他感谢今年507州选，砂选民给予人联党机会与支持，而在州选期间，人联党党内上下也维持团结。 沈桂贤也感谢国阵成员党在选举期间给予的帮助。 出席今日党代的中央领袖包括署理主席拿督斯里里察烈、秘书长拿督陈超耀律师、副主席拿督法兰西哈登、副主席拿督李景胜、副主席陈则赐、财政拿督陈冠勋、宣教秘书俞小珊、组织秘书拿督曾镇江和署理秘书长薛华东。

人联党青年团第15届团员代表大会
砂人联党青年团于今日召开第15届青年总团团员代表大会，并邀请中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师主持开幕。 陈超耀在致词时表示，随着今年5月份砂选举国阵取得大胜，联邦政府已经开始重视砂人民索回特别权益的心声。 他说，在州选过后，首相拿督斯里纳吉与首长拿督巴丁宜阿迪南沙登一起坐下，针对砂特别权益的课题展开协商。而后者也表示，将会在来临的州立法议会上，针对协商进展作出汇报。 他也希望青年团团员积极装备，为接班中央领袖做好准备。 他强调，党中央一直给予人联青机会，包括在州选期间，来自青年团的符祥威和叶耀星也领兵符出战。而在选举之后，受委政治秘书的陈开、邓文武和苏莉群都是来自青年团。 另外，砂人联党青年团总团长陈开在发表政策性演讲时表示，自从2011年开始，人联党面对前所未有的挑战，包括州选与国选的失利。 “更惨烈的是，我们也面对党内分裂、山头主义、财团政治的侵蚀，几乎所有的政治资源，面对全面停顿的窘境。” 他说，自从2014年党选之后，人联党痛定思痛，更换领导层，进行全面改革。而砂拉越领导层的更换，也给人联党一个改变的机会。在今年的砂拉越选举中，人联党一洗颓势，赢了7个州议席，党主席拿督沈桂贤受委为地方政府部长，拿督李景胜及拿督法兰斯哈汀也受委助理部长。 他表示，随后夺回大部分的市县议员、市议会主席、政治秘书的委任，这是人联党复兴的一个重要里程碑。 “政治的斗争是长远的，这个复兴还是不够，尤其是城市区华裔选民的支持，还有很多发展的空间。” 陈开强调，青年总团一直强调党内团结的重要性，只有在团结的基础上，推展各项活动，党才能更强大。 他说，青年团将会重视的工作重点，包括加强与扩大教育工作。除了既有的本地高等教育辅导之外，该团会拜访本地高等学府，与在籍大学生交流，确保他们在未来就业及人生旅途中，与人联党保持联系。
Cultural exchange program with Yantai
State Local Government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian received a courtesy call yesterday in his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia by Chi Ruo Wei, Associated Consultant of the Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs office of Yantai Municipal People’s government. Dr. Sim said the delegates are here for a familiarization tour in Kuching, with a plan to cooperate with the Padawan Municipal council for a win-win situation in term of tourism and other activities. He hoped that through such cultural exchange co-operation, they would bring benefit to Sarawak too.

中国山东省烟台市人民政府外事侨务办公室副调研员迟若维于日前率领代表团访问巴达旺市议会，并与巴达旺市议会主席罗克强交流。 他同时也在场签署烟台与巴达旺市议会的友好交流意向书。 迟若维认为，烟台市和古晋市有着很大的发展空间，特别是可开拓文化旅游及商务旅游等。 他表示，两城市的合作，可先从文化旅游开始，包括邀请古晋30名青年参与中国文化夏令营，相关费用一切由中方承担。至于旅游方面，他透露，烟台市计划组织市民多联系，从旅游、农业、到商业层面，都能走向更好的发展。 “烟台是一个沿海城市，拥有700万人口，面积超过1万3700平方公里。这里的经济活动主要是海产业，也有轻重型工业和食品加工业。” 另外，身兼人联党巴都吉当区州议员的罗克强表示，他对于烟台的邀请表示衷心感激，并且希望在明年可以到访烟台市。

SUPP representation at the MCA meeting
The Minister of Local Government, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, who is SUPP President, and the party Secretary General, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, were invited to the recent MCA 63rd Annual General Meeting. 砂人联党青年团宣教秘书符祥威律师表示，新渔村双溪亚榜巴鲁第8巷道泥沟提升工程已经完成招标，工程预计会在明年开始展开。 他是于日前与南市市议员和地方社区领袖召开新闻发布会时，这么表示。 他说，在今年的州选，他曾经与首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登提出这个民生课题。 “新渔村双溪亚榜巴鲁第8巷没有良好的水沟设施，而在州选期间，我向居民表示会尽量为他们争取提升工程。” 他表示，在这项工程完成招标程序之后，承包商将会进行施工，而他们将会决定什么时候是适合施工的时间。 他感谢南市市议员吴芝辉和许德婉，以及南市工程部门在这项工程计划的付出。
