Resolution of SUPP youth central ( AnnualDelegate Conference 2016)

1. Restitution of Malaysia Agreement 1963 through amendment of Federal Constitution:

1.1 To reinstate Sarawak as one of the three founding States in the Federation of Malaysia by amending Article 1(2) & Article 160 of Federal Constitution in accordance with Clause 4(2) of Malaysia Agreement

1.2 To amend Article 46 Federal Constitution to be in line with the ratio composition of the representatives from Sarawak in the House of Representative (Dewan Rakyat) in accordance with Clause 9 of Malaysia Agreement

2. To urge Chief Minister of Sarawak YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem to re-consider on the tabling of the motion to Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak to demand for the return of Sarawak rights as spelled out in the Malaysia Agreement, the Malaysia Act and Inter-Government Committee Report.

3. We strongly oppose the tabling of “Hudud” Bill in the Federal Parliament and defend to maintain Malaysia as a secular country.

4. To urge government provide more funding to youth who are involved in Agriculture sector especially in Agro modernization and Agro / Eco tourism. We propose to establish Sarawak Youth Farmer Cooperative.

5. We defend all Parliamentary seats originally belonged to SUPP must be contested by SUPP member.

6. We defend that all community leaders must be recommended by BN component parties, recommendation by non BN party are not acceptable.

7. We urge the government to reduce the price of natural gas and implement the gas pumping station in Sarawak due to huge production volume of natural gas in Sarawak and revenue contribution to the country.
