Miri petroleum Museum opens, says Sebastian Ting
Miri Petroleum Museum will be opened to public starting September 15, 2020, said Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Sebastian Ting.
He said they have engaged a contractor for the air conditioning system. According to the contractor the New Air conditioning system has been tested for the past 1 month.
Ting also checked the area to see what is needed and replaced and installed some items.
Petroleum Museum Secretary Mr. Yong also presented a draft proposal on how to develop the contents of this museum to Mr. Tajudin (Acting Director of Museum Sarawak).
He said the final proposal will be presented to the Minister.
