Helping out the unfortunate
Batu Kitang state Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang thanked a good samaritan for her love and care towards a stranger in need.
Lo who gave away a cheque of RM2400 yesterday to a recipient at Taman Flora Indah, who was hard on hearing and has no money to buy a hearing aid said the recipient had tears in her eyes when she got the cheque.
“This is gratitude from her to a stranger. I want the good samaritan to know that the recipient’s joy is priceless. It means so much to her and her gratitude is priceless,” he said.
Lo added that the good samaritan is a capable business woman who can afford to help. He added that it is not only that she can afford it but she has the heart and care for a fellow human to do her part.
“I hope that there are more of such people out there to do their small bit to bring joy and assistance to help the needy. This is an example we all should emulate,” he said.
He also expressed his hope that people will come forward as he still has a lot of people who need different type of assistance from kind hearted people.
