Kota Sentosa Assemblyman Wilfred Yap has voiced his frustration over the irresponsible actions of certain drivers who park their vehicles on covered drains, causing damage to public infrastructure. 俞小珊:网络空间不是法外之地
近日,一则由“MIKE RAIN”脸书账户发布的贴文涉嫌侮辱砂拉越总理拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里及其家属,事件引起广泛关注。对此,砂总理署政治秘书在古晋、诗巫与美里同步向警方报案,显示政府对恶意中伤行为采取零容忍态度。 人联党中央宣教秘书俞小珊对该报案行动表示坚定支持,并呼吁全社会严肃看待网络言论带来的潜在危害。 他表示,随着网络技术的发展与社交媒体的普及,民众享有前所未有的发声平台,这本应是民主社会的正向力量,然而,这种自由却常被别有用心者所滥用。此次事件中,该贴文不仅含有侮辱性语言,更涉及对总理家属的人身攻击,明显超越言论自由的界限,已构成恶意中伤,甚至具有煽动性质。 这种行为带来的社会负面影响不容小觑,网络上散播未经证实甚至凭空捏造的信息,容易误导公众,对政府与领导人的信任基础造成动摇。长此以往,使社会陷入互不信任的恶性循环,也不利于砂拉越多元和谐社会的维系。 当个人在网上毫无后果地发出仇恨言论,会鼓励更多人效仿,形成恶性竞逐“谁骂得更狠”的网络文化。仇恨言论一旦蔓延,不但加剧族群、政治立场的对立,更可能激发现实中的冲突,危及公共秩序。 况且,青少年与年轻网民是社交媒体的主要使用群体,若长期接触到未经查证、情绪化甚至虚假的言论,会扭曲他们对社会的认知,误以为“恶言就是勇敢,造谣就是自由”,长远而言影响国家未来公民素质的根基。 基于以上种种考量,俞小珊强调,网络空间不是法外之地,每一则发文都必须负起法律与道德责任。公众在表达观点时,应回归理性与事实,不应让情绪凌驾于真相之上,更不应成为制造网络暴力的工具。 俞小珊始终相信,言论自由是民主的重要基石,但自由必须建立在责任与尊重之上。他严正呼吁全体网民,勿因一时情绪而成为破坏社会稳定与和谐的帮凶。全体砂民更应该共同努力,营造一个有素质、有诚信的社交媒体环境。
