Adam Yii gives a boost to Miri rugby team

Batu Kawa clinic offers Community physiotherapy and Occupational therapy
There is a mixed emotions of happiness and relief as we celebrate the completion of this much-needed RM700,000 community physiotherapy and occupational therapy unit in KK Batu Kawa, said Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian. This project, he said was proposed before 2018 and faced numerous challenges including funding allocation, withholding, re-allocation, and increased construction costs post-COVID. 沈桂贤移交拨款予庙宇
砂副总理拿督阿玛沈桂贤强调，砂拉越近年来之所以能在各个领域取取得神速成就，最大关键是种族和谐，以致政府能专心处理和落实各项计划。 他指出，华族有句名言“家和万事兴”，意思是只要家庭和睦，万事都能兴旺；换句话，只要砂拉越种族和睦，凡事都能顺利进行。 因此，他提醒绝对不能让现有马来亚整天吵吵闹闹的文化渗透到砂拉越。 也是石角区议员的沈桂贤今早移交政府拨款给20个华族庙宇组织仪式上，做出上述提醒。 “纵观现有的马来亚情况，什么问题都可以成为吵闹与争议的课题，之前有袜子课题，现在又有义演争议，当他们整天在为这些课题争论不休时，砂拉越各族却没有受到影响，大家还是如常和睦相处，这就是砂拉越精神.” 他说，砂拉越政府感谢各族的配合，因为各族和谐，才能让政府不需要花费时间去处理相关问题，可以专心和集中精力关注砂拉越经济与建设发展。 沈桂贤指出，我们必须要维持这种精神，而确保这种精神不被腐蚀的关键，就是不让极端种族与宗教份子和思维渗透到砂拉越。 提到这笔拨款，他表示，农历七月即将到来，中元节则是华族一项传统宗教活动，透过这项拨款，可让受惠组织主办相关活动。 沈桂贤说，目前砂拉越政府非常重视国民保健问题，因此尽快拿回医药自主权是重要且非常迫切性的任务。 “一旦拿回医药自主权，砂拉越政府便可以更好照顾国民，特别是年长者的保健工作。” 他指出，基于年长者与出生婴儿的比例出现巨大落差，人口老化将会是一种趋势，而年长者则会面对越来越沉重的医疗开销。如果没有获得政府协助，将会给他们带来巨大的经济负担，甚至面对严重的生活窘境。
