Mega Pesta Orang Kampung will attract tourists, says Datuk Sebastian Ting
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting said Mega Pesta Orang Kampung held from November 1 to 5 2023 from 4pm to 12 midnight at the Boulevard Hypermarket Miri parking lot will be a tourist attraction, both local and foreigners. Persatuan Masyarakat Jalan Semaba anniversary dinner
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang donated RM 20,000 for The Persatuan Masyarakat Jalan Semaba, Kuching during their 20th anniversary dinner recently. Lo who was invited along with MP Stampin, Chong Chieng Jen and Kota Sentosa YB Wilfred Yap to the dinner at the multi purpose centre at the primary school at Semaba. 中秋月饼制作吸引马来同胞参与
由砂人联党南区青年团所举办的“中秋节冰皮月饼制作”比赛在砂人联党总部圆满进行，总共获得21个团队参与，其中包括马来同胞也参与其盛，共同感受中秋佳节。 中秋节是华人传统重要的节日之一，冰皮月饼是其中的经典美食之一。此次制作比赛，旨在弘扬中秋文化，促进团队合作，以及增进社区成员之间的情感交流。 在比赛开始之前，主办单位还邀请了2名嘉宾，即古晋福建公会妇女组主任刘碧云及黄立达在现场进行冰皮月饼制作示范。 同时，主办单位亦在现场颁发最创意口味奖丶最精美外观奖丶最佳传统味道奖丶最环保包装奖以及最佳团队精神奖。获奖团队分别可获得现金300令吉丶月饼礼盒及参与证书。 砂人联党妇女组主席兼砂总理政治秘书许德婉在致词时表示，虽然中秋节是中华传统文化之一，但在砂拉越，不管什麽节日，砂拉越人民都会一起庆祝，以体现多元种族和谐的一面。 另一方面，“中秋节冰皮月饼制作”比赛筹委会主席刘龙雨在致词时则说，此赛获得一家大小前来参加，这是一个有意义的比赛，同时也是砂人联党南区6个青年团首次联合举办，包括峇都林当丶朋岭丶石角丶峇都吉当丶古晋及哥打圣淘沙支部。
