Mega Pesta Orang Kampung will attract tourists, says Datuk Sebastian Ting

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting said Mega Pesta Orang Kampung held from November 1 to 5 2023 from 4pm to 12 midnight at the Boulevard Hypermarket Miri parking lot will be a tourist attraction, both local and foreigners.

He said the festival will involve 120 vendors with a variety of local food and drinks.

Ting added that this festival is a continuation of the festival that was held in Bekenu and Niah before, and for a larger scale the organizers held it in Miri city with the participation of more than 100 local vendors will also gather all the multi racial community under one roof to do business together.

Ting who is also Piasau State assemblyman said Sarawak government through his ministry welcomes and supports such an exciting program. He praised the efforts made to help local vendors introduce their respective products to the local and foreign communities.
