陈冠勋：联邦政府应继续同等对待各源流教育
砂拉越人民联合党中央教育局主任拿督陈冠勋表示，砂人联党欣慰财政部长扎夫鲁同意拨款5800万令吉给拉曼大学学院，华社乐见其成，也深信这笔拨款将能惠及该大学无数华裔学生，大大减轻学生家长的经济负担。 “我们深信，随着财政部恢复给拉曼大学教育拨款，而且是直接从高教部拨给该大学，也结束过去两年希盟政府锐减拉曼大学教育拨款课题的争议，我们希望接下来拉曼大学和相关管理层，能将重心放在提升教育努力上，确保该大学能继续为国家培育人才。” 他指出，人联党向来对教育发展持两种鲜明立场。第一，支持政府对任何能促进或提升国家教育培训机构，给予资源资助。第二，不能将教育政治化，避免学生沦为最终受害者。 遗憾的是，希盟政府上台后，频频向教育领域开刀，拉曼大学作为培育人才的重要教育摇篮，从1969年到2018年都获得政府拨款资助，可是希盟政府却向它开刀，拨款甚至减少到100万，虽然之后在华社施压和补选惨败后，希盟补发另外4000万，然而该笔拨款却是转交给第三方。这根本是没有诚意，也不是真正要协助教育发展。 陈冠勋说，除了拉曼，希盟政府对砂拉越境内许多残旧学校需要维修也持漠不关心态度，教育事务原本就属於联邦政府，维修残旧学校更是联邦政府不可推卸的义务和责任，可是当时的财政部长林冠英语气傲慢要砂政府先缴付之前的欠款，之后才会拨款维修砂拉越的残旧学校。 “希盟政府已经将教育当成他们对付政敌讨价还价的筹码和工具，彻底偏离教育不能政治化的原则。” 他希望在首相丹斯里慕尤丁领导下的联邦政府，能一视同仁关照各源流教育的发展，确保马来西亚的教育体制持续百花齐放，继续为国家培育更多英才。
陳超耀：人联党来届州选出战20席
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陳超耀律师强调，该党在来届砂州选会出战20个传统议席，包括欧巴、曼旺、英吉利里、都东及巴旺阿山。 陳超耀今日发文告说，砂人联党早前已经表明会出战20个议席，迄今仍坚持这个立场。 “这些年来，砂人联党一直马不停蹄在所有出战选区基层活动，与社区合作带动经济及环境发展，尤其是福利及生活津贴向来都是主要课题的乡区。” 他对砂政党联盟其他成员党给予的积极反应及支持感到欣慰，并认为砂盟成员党之间的合作精神及情谊是值得鼓舞的。砂人联党坚信这是砂盟持续壮大的主要基础，继续实践捍卫砂拉越及砂人民权益的目标。
Report online harassment, says Kho Teck Wan
As more businesses and social activities shifted online due to COVID-19 pandemic, there is a rise of not only sexual harassment, but cyberbullying, scam, spreading of fake news and hacking, said SUPP woman Chief, Kho Teck Wan. She said although police reports were lodged and some actions taken from authority concerned, more awareness and proactive efforts are needed by the authorities to monitor the cyber crime.
