力挺25马来显要、33知名人士的中庸之道！
人联党中央青年总团宣教秘书兼朋岭支部青年团秘书符祥威律师今天发表文告指出，我国自建国以来实行的中庸政策如今已被国内一些极端主义人士破坏与威胁，除了危及国家的安宁与稳定，更严重破坏政府对国民团结与和谐所做的一切努力。 我们现今存在着许多一触即发的种族、宗教、教育等敏感课题，尤其是在极端分子的鼓吹下，分分钟将造成一发不可收拾的局面。若政府将这些视若无睹，执法单位无法用现有的法令去维护国家安宁与和谐，那我们共同努力所建立起来的大马中庸将毁于一旦。 所幸在首长丹斯里阿德南沙登的果敢领导下，这些敏感课题与极端分子在砂拉越并无立身之地，而身为砂国阵一员的砂拉越人民联合党也将誓必将以砂拉越人权益为大前题来抵御极端主义在砂州境内生存与蔓延。符祥威也呼吁砂州朝野政党应该放下政治成见与政党背景，一起同仇敌忾共同努力维护中庸治国之道。 有鉴于此，在以国家利益的大前提下，国民必须对无畏无惧的表达了他们勇敢的观点而发表联合声明的25位马来显要与33名社会知名人士（来自工商组织、学术界、法律界、退休高级官员、非政府组织等，他们包括了华、巫、印三大种族代表）所推动中庸之道和举行对话的建议给予最大的支持，以维护联邦宪法的精神及捍卫我们的国家不受到任何极端分子的祸害。 与此同时，符祥威也强烈抨击土著权威组织主席拿督依布拉欣阿里的「宣战论」与前任联邦法院首席大法官敦阿都哈密的「华人夺权论」为无稽之谈与狭隘思想，完全罔顾大马多元性的社会结构与宗教自由。 较早前，依布拉欣阿里形容25名马来显要（公开向政府呼吁阻止极端主义蔓延）为懦夫（cowards) 并对马来人自由主义者（Malay Liberals) 宣战。而敦阿都哈密于周日在出席土著权威组织代表大会致开幕词指出，当马来人在同室操戈，非马来人尤其是华人在虎视眈眈看到抢夺政权的机会，纵然华人已掌控经济、教育与其他领域。
砂人联党促林冠英尊重砂州宗教自由信仰
砂拉越人民联合党对于槟州首长兼民主行动党全国秘书长林冠英试图破坏砂州首席部长丹斯理阿德南沙登在维护多元种族与宗教和谐的声誉，感到震惊。 林冠英于今日发表“巫统或马来部长如凯里，是否敢于举报或谴责砂州首长”的言论，引起关注。 砂人联党提醒林冠英，砂拉越州是西马的平等伙伴，这已经在1963年马来西亚成立协议及20点契约获得阐明。 “契约阐明，伊斯兰教为国教，不过其他宗教仍可以和谐地在联邦内任何地区自由奉行。而联邦统治者会议中有关宗教法案，礼仪等，不得在北婆罗洲和砂拉越实行” 同时，于2011年签署的联邦政府10点契约，也进一步阐明砂州有权力维持宗教信仰自由。 砂人联党强调，上述契约充分显示了砂拉越及沙巴有权力维护州内的宗教信仰，这意味着在砂沙没有禁止基督徒或其他非穆斯林使用任何字眼的条例，这也是砂州首长在过去几个月以来所强调的。 “更何况，砂州从未通过实行任何宗教裁决（fatwa），反而是槟州首长林冠英本身于2010年批准了这项宗教裁决在该州实行。” 砂人联党认为，林冠英既然在当年批准宗教裁决，禁止非穆斯林使用40个宗教字眼，此刻却突然转态，反对相关条例，这显然是不符合逻辑的。 因此，砂人联党强力反对林冠英试图破坏砂州首长声誉，并希望林冠英本身能够管好槟州，不要通过其他人捞取政治资本。 与此同时，砂人联党也呼吁砂州民主行动党能够“出声”，劝告自己的党全国秘书长林冠英，不要过度妒忌砂州首长阿德南沙登在维护宗教和谐的立场。 “砂州民主行动党也应该好好劝告林冠英，不要插手砂州的事务，或破坏砂州享有的和谐。”

Christmas cheers in Miri
About 500 people from Kampung Pasir Lutong enjoyed a Christmas gathering from 2 pm to 5.30 pm organised by SUPP Piasau, Miri. It was also jointly organised with the Kampung Pasir JKKK committee and Kpg Pasir Wanita. Joining the joyous occasion was Secretary general of SUPP, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, who is also the Chairman of Piasau SUPP. The kampung folks had a fabulous time merry-making while the children were given goodies and candies by Santarina.

人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星律师近日接获民众及三哩菜市场小贩投诉该市场厕所问题。 同时也是巴达旺市议员的叶耀星与巴达旺市议会职员在接获投诉后前往该厕所视察并商讨如何处理该厕所之问题。叶耀星于现场要求市议会官员列出需要修理与需处理之清单并尽可能在近期内处理因公共厕所需处理良好状态。 人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星表示他会在市议会常月会议中提出这项问题并要求市议会职员提高厕所视察次数以确保公共设施时常处于良好状态获得妥善维修供大众使用。

Bau community leaders
Bong Jong Loong has been appointed as the Pemanca for Bau district for another two years. Also extended are Kapitan Phang Kang Soon, Kapitan Liew Jiu Fung and Kapitan Chai Kiu Fui. The community leaders received a letter of appointment from the Acting District Officer, Nola. Also at the ceremony were Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and Mas Gading MP Anthony Nogeh including SUPP Bemgoh leaders. Anthony said this was a beginning for SUPP and SPDP to work together closely in Bau district.
