UPP and TERAS are not BN component parties (Both are NOT BN). No such things as BN family when you are not part of BN. Admission to BN still needs unanimous decision (everyone must agreed) of the 13 BN component parties (YAB Tan Sri CM had confirmed on this previously). 砂拉越人民联合党秘书长拿督沈桂贤上议员强调，砂人民力量党及联民党绝非国阵的成员党，因此，也不能算是国阵大家庭的一份子。 “既然不是属于国阵成员党，又怎么能说自己是国阵的大家庭一份子？” 他强调，首席部长兼州国阵主席丹斯里阿德南沙登曾经说过，国阵要接纳新党加入，必须要13个国阵成员党的一致同意。 他说，正是国阵的纪律的精神，才能从过去以来维持壮大。 他也说，议席不是属于个人的，砂州国阵成员党，包括土保党、民进党、人民党及人联党的议席，都是属于各自的政党，而不是个人资产。 他提醒人联党党员，领袖可来可去，但是，人联党还是人联党，从不会改变精神与目标。 对于一些具有个人议程的政治人物，他奉劝大家须多加小心，保持警惕。 另外，他也对于之前声称能够壮大国阵的砂人民力量党，如今却发生领袖另组新党的事件，感到疑惑。 前人联党诗巫支部主席拿督斯里黄顺舸，在宣布加入人民力量党后，如今却再次宣布另组新党，即联民党。其他三名前人联党议员，分别是耶里苏休、佐尼科拉永及拉浓米纳也跟随加入联民党。
