中医师拜会沈桂贤
来自中国、香港及台湾十余名中医师日前前往砂人联党总部礼貌拜会砂人联党主席兼上议员拿督沈桂贤，借以对中医领域进行交流。 沈桂贤透露，这些中医师的礼貌拜会主要是让社会大众对中医有更深了解，同时希望为本地民众提供义诊。他说，这种愿意为社会大众提供免费义诊的志愿服务精神，令人赞赏。 来自抚顺中医诊所的中医张剑锋表示，中医涵盖针灸、推拿、矫正脊椎等，此趟拜会希望能对中医进行交流，改变社会大众对中医的想法，同时不求回酬提供义诊。他也透露，他们是拥有大马营业执照及在砂中医师公会合法注册。
沈桂贤主持古晋芦山庙大霸王公布施大会
古晋芦山庙大霸王公昨天（农历四月初八）举行常年“布施功德大会”，庆祝开坛救世纪念。砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员受邀主持。 这项常年举办的善举，获得各方善信、仁翁善长的鼎力支持，捐献义款及大批各种食品作为布施用途。 今年受惠的慈善福利团体共14个，分别是砂拉越福利理事会、济世之家、救世军、天主教福利会、布洛克纪念医院、盲人中心、砂残障中心、儿童癌症协会、12哩老人院、自闭症协会、古晋希望之家、古晋印度人协会、古晋德教会紫霞阁（医药部）及云南善堂。
陈超耀赞扬首长关注全民心声
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师感激首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿德南沙登，因后者展现出一名真正体恤人民，关注民意的领袖风范。 他指出，在5月22日，砂人联党向首长反映，希望州政府所有地方政府服务都能豁免或取消6%消费税，以减轻人民所面对的生活经济压力。 “在昨日举行的诗巫南兰大桥废除收费仪式上，首长宣布砂州政府自行吸纳所有地方政府服务的消费税，协助人民缴付消费税，减轻人民负担。” 陈超耀形容，这是一个天大的好消息，尤其是对于低收入阶层的人民来说，这样的措施可以纾解一些压力。 他赞扬首长一直都在关注人民的心声，并尽一切可能帮助人民。包括废除南兰大桥的收费，也惠及了当地的居民。 也出席该废除大桥收费仪式的陈超耀说，豁免过桥费后，可让周围地区上千名居民，尤其是每日都必须使用该大桥的上班族，都可从中受惠。而接下来，美里亚细安大桥也将会在6月1日开始，免费让所有马来西亚注册车辆使用。 “这无疑是来临达雅节的一个好消息，美里居民都会积极期盼那一天的到来。” 他希望，砂州人民继续成为首长阿德南的强力后盾，支持他的领导。

Book donation
In response to an FB message from Chu Sze Chen of Marriott hotel, SUPP Miri Piasau Branch, Youth and Women sections donated a total of 288 books, mostly new English story books to this meaningful project. The purpose is to encourage youngsters to read and learn English, 300 more books were aimed to be collected and send to five primary schools at Bekenu for their reading corner as part of “Spirit to Serve Community project” from the well meaning group.
Abolishment of the Asean bridge toll

徐美丽对指奸案被告无罪释放感失望
砂人联党中央妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽对于六旬老翁指奸15岁未成年少女成孕经过三司审判无罪获得释放表示痛心和失望。 “受害人苦等的3年审讯结果不但无法讨回公道，更令人心寒的是被告最终无罪当庭获得释放。” 指奸案的被告是基于我国强奸法的定义男性生殖器官插入女性阴道，才足以构成强奸罪，而本案被告手指沾染精液插入受害人阴道，手指不是生殖器官在法律上不属于“强奸罪”因而逃脱的法律的制裁，纵然受害人的婴孩的DNA检验结果是被告的亲骨肉，本案的嫌犯仍然逍遥法外，无需付上法律责任。再来基于法律规定不能对同一犯罪人做两次的起诉，该嫌犯是属于上诉得直，因此不能再次起诉他，即便是以其他法令起诉他。 砂人联党妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽感慨，二十一世纪的我国的强奸法如此落后让人无法接受和担忧。纵观世界强奸案严重的国家例如印度和孟加拉，女性和儿童被强奸之后被告逃过法律制裁让人闻之丧胆，由于法律的缺陷导致罪案问题越趋严重，治安败坏阻碍这些国家社会的发展。马来西亚距离2020年先进国宏愿只有5年时间，如今在我国刑事法无法保护下的青少年在未来的5年将是国家迈向先进国的重要动力，“我们无法想象在没有完善法律保护下的青少年将后如何为国家做出贡献？” “我国的法律要是跟不上时代的需求，先进国的宏愿难如登天。”拿汀徐美丽呼吁我国政府重点加速改革这种原始和蒙昧的法律，以适合如今日益纷纭复杂的社会趋势。唯有个人安全得到充分保障，才有稳定和谐的社会，国家才能进步。
美里柏迈广场达雅节市集

俞小珊提醒佐尼戈拉容不要蓄意挑起种族问题
砂拉越人民联合党中央宣教秘书俞小珊提醒联民党领袖佐尼戈拉容不要蓄意挑起国阵成员党内部种族问题，这不是作为一个非国阵成员党应有的政治道德和行为。 他说，人联党是个走多元民族路线的政党，从创党至今这个原则和立场从未改变，因此来自不同民族、宗教和文化背景的党员，都是人联党重要和宝贵资产，党员之间没有所谓谁比谁重要，更不会边沿化某个民族。 “佐尼戈拉容在发表有关言论时，应该谨慎和负责任，不要为了本身的政治宣传而胡言乱语，蓄意挑起国阵成员党内部的种族问题。” 俞小珊是针对佐尼戈拉容形容人联党的修改党章后，现任署理主席拿督斯里里察烈将出任第一署理主席的做法对土著不公平，而做出上述反驳。 他表示，目前人联党只有一个署理主席职位，增设多一个署理主席是要吸纳更多领袖进入党中央领导，而里察烈是资深领袖，也获得全体党员的敬重，他出任第一署理主席高职毋容置疑。 “佐尼戈拉容在发表有关言论时也不回头想想今天自己的成就，当年若没有获得人联党的推荐就不会成为今日州议员的身份。同样的文莪区州议员和奥巴区州议员，他们皆来自友族也同样得到人联党的推荐。遗憾，他们3位中选后，在没有把议席归还人联党的情况下，加入联民党。” 佐尼戈拉容曾于1998年6月26加入人联党，并在2001年因挑战国阵候选人而被开除。之后他于2010年重新申请，人联党常务委员会在2010年9月20日的会议上批准其入党申请，之后又因加盟联民党而在2014年6月14日被人联党开除。 他指出，佐尼戈拉容应该检讨自己一路的政治立场，做好本身事务和管理好所属政党，而非干预其他政党事务。 俞小珊说，人联党修改党章已获得社团注册局批准，也会在即将举行的大会上寻求通过与接纳，党章的修改不是为了某位领袖，而是要促使人联党朝向更正确的改革方向前进。
曾镇江：柔州没必要设立砂州巫统区部
砂拉越人民联合党组织秘书曾镇江认为，柔佛巫统没有必要为在当地求职的砂州人民设立支部，若真正要解决他们的问题，倒不如砂州四个国阵成员党在柔佛设立诸如联谊会性质的组织，以作为和巫统直接沟通的管道。 他说，人联党极为担心，这项设立有其政治目的，是作为把巫统政治势力延伸至砂州的另一种渠道，若真如此人联党将坚决做出反对。 他表示，砂首长兼州国阵主席丹斯里阿德南已多次，最近一次是在今年2月14日再三表明砂州需要巫统东渡砂州，砂州已有四个国阵成员党即土保党、人联党、人民党和民进党，他们已证明可以有效治理砂州。 人联党认同阿德南在这问题上的立场，砂国阵不是讨厌巫统，只是砂州现有的政治势力和治理能力根本不需要他们，在州国阵成员党共同努力与合作下，也成功照顾各族包括内陆少数民族。 曾镇江是针对柔佛巫统联委会主席拿督斯里卡立日前提出将为在柔佛求职的砂州人民设立巫统支部的建议，发表上述谈话。 “不能否认，目前大约有3万至4万名砂州公民在柔佛求职，生活过程中难免会面对一些困难，需要获得当局关注与解决。不过巫统为他们设立支部也非最佳方式。” 曾镇江建议砂州4个国阵成员党可在当地设立诸如俱乐部或联谊会组织，让在当地求职的砂州公民参与。类似组织可以作为协助他们解决问题与巫统领袖直接沟通的桥梁，也可以将州政府的政策及时和他们分享、分析。如此一来，尽管他们身在外地，也可以获得家乡正确资讯。 他表示，我们对巫统为当地砂州人民设立支部，而他们成为党员后将如何解决又朝一日他们离开柔佛返回砂州的党籍问题感到担心。人联党不允许任何巫统领袖企图通过“走后门”方式，将巫统带入砂州。
