Funds for long houses
SUPP Bawang Assan Branch, under the leadership of Robert Lau Hui Yew, managed to raise a total of RM35,000 for the maintenance and replacement of old roofing at the Rh Jiddy and Rh Deni.
Both of these longhouses, which consist of a total of around 50 doors, feel thankful to the prompt action and effort by Robert Lau and his team.
Residents of the two longhouses would be inviting Lau and his team to celebrate Gawai, together with the SUPP’s 56th anniversary celebration.
The two longhouses are expected to complete the repairs and construction of the roofing by end of May in time for the Gawai celebration.
