Book donation
In response to an FB message from Chu Sze Chen of Marriott hotel, SUPP Miri Piasau Branch, Youth and Women sections donated a total of 288 books, mostly new English story books to this meaningful project. The purpose is to encourage youngsters to read and learn English, 300 more books were aimed to be collected and send to five primary schools at Bekenu for their reading corner as part of “Spirit to Serve Community project” from the well meaning group.
Abolishment of the Asean bridge toll
Secretary General of Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Dato’ Sebastian Ting thanked the Chief minister who had abolished the Asean bridge toll fees.
