砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员今日主持中央常务会议之后，发表文告。 他指出，有关砂州首席部长宣布委派国阵直属候选人出战人联党的传统出战选区，党意识到这已经来到创党57年以来的低潮时刻。但时下并非是强者或智者才能生存的时代，而是最能适应局势者生存的时代。 砂人联党是个多元种族的政党，不过，首长最终只是宣布给予人联党出战一个新选区，而非所争取的两个新选区。 但无论如何，他强调，为了维护结盟的意义，就必须确保整体的多样与多元性，基于这个原因，人联党认同人民党主席丹斯里詹玛欣的立场，即在现有82个议席的情况下，土保党不应该拥有超过41个席位。为了确保如此，国阵直属候选人在胜出之后，应该是加入其他国阵成员党。 与此同时，他重申，由国阵直属候选人出战的人联党传统出战选区，应该还是属于人联党选区。 他说，目前人联党的主要目标是赢取选举，凝聚力量，以为更长远的斗争而战。同时，也要在国阵政府里，扮演监督角色，而惟有人民才可以让人联党重新强盛。 他希望人民可以给人联党一次机会，证明人联党可以为他们做出服务与争取。 沈桂贤也强调，来临的选举是关乎是否能拿回砂拉越权益的一战，这场选举也是决定砂拉越人民未来的一战。 他希望人联党全体党员可以保持冷静与继续团结，专注在选举，确保人联党可以获胜。
罗克强帮助残障人士申请援助
砂人联党巴都吉当准候选人罗克强于日前协助一名残障人士申请援助。 该残障人士名为新耶（Singet Anak Gown），现年63岁，居住在五哩八港路的甘榜。他是一名盲人，双眼失明，而且有轻微智障，需要社会援助。 他目前与哥哥与大嫂同住，其生活起居主要是由现年57岁的大嫂阿诺（Anot Anak Mejui）负责。无论如何，由于后者只是普通家庭主妇，售卖农作物维生，因此收入不高，加上若遇到雨天，就会失去收入来源。 阿诺非常感谢身兼巴达旺市议会主席的罗克强，协助帮忙新耶申请援助福利。
人联党石角支部斥周宛诗颠倒是非
人联党石角服务中心斥责民行党石角州议员周宛诗不惜颠倒是非抹黑人联党，以便掩饰自己服务纪录不佳的事实，进而在即将来临的州选举捞取选票。 该服务中心指出，在发放一马援助金通知信事宜上，周宛诗非但在其个人面子书上载误导性贴文，对人联党胡乱开炮，还向警方投报对人联党做出莫须有的指控，这充分显示她为了博取廉价宣传，不惜滥用议员身份并浪费警力。 “人联党是在省公署的要求下，透过人联党总部协助发出4824封一马援助金通知信，给予浮罗岸、朋岭、峇都林当、哥打圣淘沙和石角一带的符合资格的申请者，确保申请者能够尽速到省公署或邮政局，领取一马援助金。” 服务中心发布文告指出，在接获协助的请求后，人联党就从3月23日开始，在人联党总部陆续把相关通知信交到申请者手中，确保他们都可得到援助金。 “至今为止，已经有3132封通知信交至申请人，至于那些迄今还没前来领取通知信的，我们也一直跟进并敦促他们尽速前来领取通知信。” 文告续称：“出于一片好意，希望申请者能尽快领到援助金，人联党石角区服务中心负责人林亚德于是挺身而出，毛遂自荐提议把其中125封属于石角人的通知信，拿到服务中心去分发。如此一来，可以免去申请者前往人联党总部的麻烦，二来也可以加速分发通知信，避免分发期限到了，未领取的通知信将退回至省公署，届时，申请者或因此陷入无助的情况。” 服务中心进一步说，在相关125封通知信中，其中31封的申请者地址是周宛诗服务中心，然而，周宛诗却也要求把相关31封的通知信全数交给她，可是这却不符合相关程序，尤其必须经过领取者的身份核实，确保申请者本身取得该通知信。 况且，一旦出现任何失误，负责相关通知信的林亚德需要背负全责，这将造成他失信于相关申请者，因此，他不能基于一个相同的地址和对方是议员，就不负责任的随便交出那些通知信。 “就此，林亚德建议周宛诗直接到人联党总部沟通并做进一步安排，以便确保万无一失，但周宛诗却拒绝该建议，甚至恫言要发布新闻。不过，最后她同意不发布新闻，但她却转头在面子书发表误导性和具诽谤性的贴文，影射林亚德和人联党盗窃一马援助金通知信，更就此事不明究理的去报警。” 人联党石角服务中心呼吁周宛诗，停止以不实的指责来博取选民同情，进而捞取选票，最后造成浪费人民和警方的时间。 “她不该以小人之心度君子之腹，为了打击人联党而昧着良心扭曲人联党为石角人民着想的好意，以便掩饰她过去5年奇差无比的服务纪录，甚至只是提供了填写仅仅31封通知信的微不足道的服务而已。” “对于周宛诗莫须有的指控，我们促她收回所有不实和误导的言论，并就她污蔑人联党和林亚德的信誉作公开道歉，否则，我们将透过司法途径讨回我们原有的清白，并且捍卫我们的清誉，同时也对她采取必要的法律行动包括起诉她诽谤。”
党员团结一致应对长期挑战

Piasau SUPP Chairman, Dato Sebastian went to check out a problem on the drains in Padang Kerbau. Together with him was Pujut Chairman, Adam Yii. They were together with the Drainage Irrigation department officers to see what could be done before the next rainy season. The area is always flooded during rainy season.
