砂拉越人民联合党哥打圣陶沙支部秘书叶耀星对行动党哥打圣淘沙区州议员兼古晋国会议员张健仁日前发表有关八点地基本设施缺乏的言论，做出以下反驳。 首先，张健仁的言论充分彰显行动党议员没有能力为自己所属的州选区抑或者国会选区争取发展经费与拨款的铁证事实，他们不但没有对本身的无能为力低头承认，反而一味指责别人并将自家问题怪罪别人。 民众须了解，一名州议员每个月的固定薪金是1万5千令吉，而国会议员每月固定薪金则为1万6千令吉，这还没计算身为议员所享有的其他津贴，所以张健仁既然是身为哥打圣淘沙区议员（该选区包括八点地），就应该积极向政府申请或争取发展经费，为有关地区推动发展及解决民众所面对的问题，这才是一名称职的议员。 张健仁已是哥打圣淘沙议员两届议员，应当有勇气和能力去担当解决选区上所有问题，而不是将选区内的问题全部推卸给别人，或找借口搪塞了事。 张健仁和所有行动党议员必须清楚明白和觉悟，不是所有问题都能通过召开新闻发布会就能解决，而是要采取积极、有效和适当行动。我们感到遗憾，纸上谈兵向来是行动党解决问题的管道和文化。 如果选区上的问题都能如此通过新闻发布会或指责谩骂得到解决，那么我们何须举行选举来投选人民代议士。 民众投选人民代议士的目的和期望，就是要他们能代表人民对发展和解决问题寻求最佳的解决途径。行动党议员与其成天怨天尤人及相互指责，何不把精力集中在州议会及国会，为自己选区争取经费以让人民享有实际的发展成果 ，身为国州议员，张健仁应着重本身选区内的基本设施发展，确保选区内人民的利益得到保障。 此外，张健仁身为砂拉越行动党主席，也应该向他们马来亚半岛中央领袖询问多项人民关注的问题，包括行动党为何与敦马哈迪合作，毕竟敦马在任职期间面对各种丑闻缠身，包括90年代国际银行外汇亏损事件，土著金融丑闻，柏华惹钢铁公司及滥用国油资金。 叶耀星希望张健仁认真为哥打圣淘沙选区做出发展，而他本身也不想与张氏继续展开这种幼稚的“指责游戏”。

Helping out flood victims in Salim
SUPP Bukit Assek Mobile Service Team responded to the needs of flood victims in Salim within two hours after they received a distress call. Bukit Assek Branch chairman Chieng Buong Toon said nearly 1,000 victims from eight longhouses needed their help. 武吉阿瑟流动服务团队援助灾黎
砂人联党武吉阿瑟支部流动服务团队在支部主席钱本统带领下，于日前现场勘查南甲沙廉一带长屋的涨水情况。 因几天的大雨和拉让江涨潮，造成南甲沙廉一带较低洼的地区涨水，交通中断，居民无法出门购买粮食。 该服务团队即刻展开食物救济行动，协助深受水灾影响的8座长屋，包括约瑟长屋、玛莉长屋、旦毕长屋、尼巴长屋、玛达沓丹长屋、玛丹长屋、巴金长屋及基丁长屋。

人联青愿帮助申请教师职位民众
砂人联党青年团可以帮助任何有意申请公务员职位，包括担任教师的民众。 砂人联党青年总团宣教兼朋岭支团秘书符祥威表示，实际上，该党时刻都准备协助欲申请执教的公众，并通过正确管道申请。 日前，一名黄姓女子对其通过砂政府电子招聘系统申请执教，但申请却被砂伊斯兰宗教局拒绝，而向古晋区国会议员兼哥打圣淘沙区州议员张健仁求助一事，符祥威表示，若黄姓女子能向人联党接洽，该党时刻准备好协助她，通过联邦公共服务委员会下的教育服务委员会，提呈其申请担任数学教师。 他表示，黄姓女子考取教育系数学科硕士学位，人联党认同她是人才，惟据砂福利、妇女及社区和谐部部长拿督花蒂玛阿都拉指出，黄姓女子的申请投错部门，其申请是通过砂拉越e-recruitment，意指是申请到砂拉越公共服务领域之下的岗位，而申请执教不属于砂拉越管辖下。
陈开：电讯塔兴建无关新旧住宅因素
砂人联党青年团总团长陈开指出，电讯塔建与否取决于地方上用户需求，并不是关系到新或旧住宅区。 他表示，从这点看来，反对党从来都不重视人民的问题，尤其是面对网络龟速事宜上。而关于日前张健仁质疑为何Sacofa在旧住宅区兴建电讯塔，新住宅区会更需要电讯塔，对此，陈开直言，这根本就是误导群众。 他相信，兴建电讯塔是因为该区网络用户不断增加，用户增加会导致网络线路变得龟速，为民众带来困扰，然而，他也强调，本身这不是在为Sacofa辩解。 据他所知，在槟城、雪兰莪，甚至新加坡等地方，都采用一样的科技，在住宅区竖立电讯塔，甚至竖立在高楼上。 关于辐射问题，他强调，本身并非专业的技术人员，所以不太了解。不过，根据Sacofa声明，马来西亚核机构证实，Sacofa电讯塔比国际非离子辐射保护委员会（ICNIRP）采用的标准安全790倍。电讯塔所释放的辐射微不足道，就如收音机、灯泡、灯管和电视机发出的辐射一样，是无害的。 陈开不解为何反对党将矛头指向拿督沈桂贤，但事实上，能批准的单位是州策划单位，而非砂地方政府部。 另一方面，对于行动党朋岭区州议员杨薇讳在2月13日通过其脸书发布指，Sacofa和多媒体通讯委员会同意暂时停止电讯塔工程，及另寻地点兴建，对此，陈开要求杨薇讳出示相关文件证据，别再误导民众。
