A proud victory in the Para Powerlifting World Cup in Dubai for Miri
Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting was together with the proud parents, relatives and friends were at the airport on Monday evening to welcome Norfariza Mortadza of Miri, who represented Malaysia in the 8th Fazza 2017 Para Powerlifting World Cup in Dubai held from the 25th February to 4th March 2017.
Norfariza won the 2nd placing and has done Malaysia, especially Sarawak and Miri proud.
Ting said it was a milestone for Miri and on behalf of Miri people, congratulate d Norfariza bt Mortadza and her proud parents on her excellent achievement.
” Indeed we are proud of her achievement and more importantly her positive values and amazing spirit in life despite her challenges. She can be and is an excellent role model for all and especially more so to those who are also physically challenged ,” he said.
