Wrongful application for teaching post

SUPP youth has advised Wong to put her application as maths teacher through the Education Service Commission under the Federal Service Commission and SUPP is always ready to assist in her application to become a maths teacher in Sarawak if she approaches us.

Wong has earlier applied wrongly through e-recruitment sarawak which is for the state civil service and the recruitment of teachers does not fall under the state list as enlightened by Datuk Fatimah Abdullah, who also cited that Wong was among 4,438 individuals applying for the same post as advertised by Sarawak Islamic Religious Department.

On his recent media criticism, Bandaraya Kuching cum ADUN Kota Sentosa, Chong is either ignorance of the procedure in the application for teacher post and has failed to do his homework, or he is just making use of Wong’s case to do his own publicity and never sincere in helping the desperate. Chong is once again reminded that he is taking salaries from the people as both MP and ADUN and thus, he has a duty and obligation to make verified press statements.

As a responsible elected representative by the people, it is indeed unbefitting to make the people’ pain and suffering into one’s own political propaganda. We should focus on solving people problem in action rather than publicity in words.

SUPP believes in democracy and Chong should assist Wong by putting her job application as maths teacher through the right channel i.e. through the Federal Service Commission, rather than to make it as an issue.
