陈超耀争取拨款兴建美里亲善小贩中心厕所
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀表示，其将通过乡区转型计划（RTP）争取拨款在美里亲善小贩中心内落实建设新公共厕所，改善当地的卫生问题。 陈超耀与市长俞小珊日前接获美里小贩联合会主席张启创作出反映后，于日前带同市政局工程部职员前往亲善小贩中心巡视。他说，市政局工程部职员初步拟定在小贩中心的后方改建公共厕所，即与祈祷室毗邻的空间挪用为新公厕的地点，惟仍必须预计建设经费后才将报告呈上申请拨款。 他透露，初步概念是建设男女公厕，即2间男厕与2间女厕。必须进行各项手续因而预估或需4个月时间来完成，但强调将会与市政局共同配合，让公厕工程能尽快落实。 根据小贩们反映，于该小贩中心入口处旁的公厕在凌晨5时才开放，因而小贩或民众一旦有三急时候，只能在附近草丛内解决，女小贩更是苦不堪言。

沈桂賢：消滅黑斑蚊人人有責
砂地方政府及房屋部長拿督沈桂賢披露，政府聯合居民進行大掃除並不是代表“政府沒錢”，而是通過活動來聯繫彼此，並維持地方上的衛生與清潔。 他說，一些有心人抨擊政府沒有做工，然後聯合居民進行大掃除運動，也說政府已沒有錢保持地方上的清潔。但政府的用意就是在聯合居民，與政府合作，一起進行大掃除，促進政府官員與居民的交流及溝通。 “大掃除是促進居民團結的運動，居民不能單靠州政府進行大掃除而已，也必須要全體居民的合作，同心協力將環境打掃，保持衛生及清潔。” 拿督沈桂賢是在德瑪拉勿區大型大掃除活動上致詞時也表示，噴蚊霧只能治標，不能治本。消滅黑斑蚊工作不能單靠衛生局或有關政府部門，必須依靠全民的配合與努力，才能達到預定的效果。 他形容，若在外國就不同，是個人自己的事情；不過在砂拉越就有團結的精神，如此的文化是值得大家學習，而不是用手指的方式，這是不真誠的舉動。 “若有來自西馬的不良文化，我們就不讓他進入砂拉越，吩咐移民局把他送回西馬。” 他指出，骨痛熱症是很嚴重的疾病，若患上該癥狀，嚴重的話有可能導致死亡。因此，若地區上周圍骯髒絕對不能怪上天的錯，而是人類自己沒有維持地方上清潔。 沈桂賢透露，砂州在去年接獲2550宗的骨痛熱症病例，當中有212個地區的255宗證實患上骨痛熱症，而截至今年的第47個星期，即11月25日為止，全砂共有908宗骨痛熱症病例，當中有47個地區的53宗證實為骨痛熱症。 他指出，德瑪拉勿商業中心在去年成為骨痛熱症的熱點之一，在54天內有18宗，而今年當地也有4宗。 此外，他稱，“行為改變溝通計劃”必須在有骨痛熱症的地區推動。該計劃是為了聯合及加強居民通過舉辦活動，預防骨痛熱症的發生。社區領袖也必須參與有關計劃，以達到預防骨痛熱症的目標。 他也強調，私人企業也有責任維持地方上清潔，不讓蚊蟲繁殖，維持社區環境清潔與衛生是長期性的任務，居民應經常動手清除家園，消滅可供蚊蟲繁殖的場所。

协助解决石角永明村排水问题
