Complain of poor drainage condition at Everbright Estate

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau was recently approached by the residents of Everbright Estate who had complained that the poor drainage condition was hindering the smooth flow of rain water in their housing estate and had requested for clearing and improvement works to be carried out on the drains to prevent flash flooding with the approaching rainy season. 诗巫党产案人联党胜诉

人联党与Twinswood有限公司股东争夺诗巫甘榜拿督路三间店屋产权案件落幕,诗巫高庭裁决Twinswood必须将党产归还给人联党,同时也要承担10万令吉堂费。 承审此案的司法专员说,诉方已经成功举证店屋产权是属于人联党,所以要归还给人联党,并将三间产权过名给人联党。 这起争党产官司是于今年7月6日在诗巫高庭开审,诉方为人联党中央主席拿督沈桂贤、秘书拿督陈超耀及财政陈冠勋,列Twinswood有限公司为辩方,由来自古晋的司法专员迪尹韦恩达立负责审理,而诉方律师为施保兴,罗君华为辩方代表律师。 在聆审过程中,诉方传召了16个证人,而辩方证人则有3个。 据悉,依据法律程序,辩方可以在30天内进行上诉,逾期没有提出上诉,则要进行转名等手续。 人联党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师感谢诗巫高庭这项裁决,尽管他未能身在诗巫聆听审讯,不过党领袖已经在第一时间向他报告这项好消息。 他感激诗巫领袖包括刘会耀、钱本统、黄振渊、蔡明成及丁永豪,以及律师团队及全体党员的努力,在党面对挑战的时刻,与党共进退,不离不弃。 他也特别感谢已故前任党主席拿督巴丁宜黄顺开及遗孀潘斯里杨守勤,尤其是后者致力确保诗巫党产归还给人联党,完成丈夫遗愿。
