沈桂贤促请党员继续为民服务
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤强调，经历第14届全国大选变天，人联党在联邦成为反对党之后，党员必须转换心态，而不是一直停留在过去。 他表示，即使人联党是反对党，也能照样为人民服务，监督新政府表现，确保所有选举承诺都会落实。 沈桂贤今日在人联党第59周年党庆升旗礼上致词时说，人联党并非第一次成为反对党，因此无需恐慌。况且，在砂拉越，人联党还是执政党，应该继续做好本份，继续在基层活跃，服务人民。 他指出，政治上胜败乃是兵家常事，不应为了一时失败而自乱阵脚，而是从失败中学习。尽管目前人联党处于不一样的政治环境，但党员和领袖的眼界应该放宽，专注在大局。 他表示，国选尘埃落定后，有来自新加坡国家心脏中心的电邮，告知想要录取他。他看后断然拒绝，因为他决意要继续服务砂拉越人民。 他说，人联党上下必须要有这种奋斗精神，继续为砂拉越人民服务。

砂人联党主席兼地方政府及房屋部部长拿督沈桂贤于日前瞻仰已故前砂副首长拿督斯里丹尼尔达詹遗容，并向其家人献上慰问。 他形容，丹尼尔达詹的离世，对砂拉越是一个损失。 “我父亲已故拿督阿玛沈庆鸿曾经与丹尼尔达詹共事，两人拥有交情。” 随同沈桂贤瞻仰丹尼尔达詹遗容者包括巴都吉当区州议员罗克强及砂首长政治秘书陈开。

Members of the Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg recently at the DUN building to give a briefing to the CM on the latest development of the bank. The five-member delegation was led by the board’s chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani, who is also the State Secretary. With him were chief executive officer Sim Kheng Boon, and board members Dato Sharkawi Alis, Christopher Adrian, Ho Swee Hua and Datu Laura Lee Ngien Hion.
