KR Sarawak to lodge formal report with MACC

SUPP central youth chairman, Michael Tiang is happy that PKR Sarawak has taken his advice to lodge a formal report with the MACC to investigate the allegation that SUPP received stolen funds from 1MDB.

He had earlier stated that making wild allegations only through the press and social media by anyone will be viewed as mere political stunts with an intention no more than to tarnish the image and credibility of SUPP.

Tiang said in the event if MACC initiates any investigation on SUPP in response to PKR’s above report lodge, he will personally view that such investigation is an opportunity for SUPP to clear its name and to reiterate the truth that the online allegations made against SUPP about taking 1MDB stolen funds are baseless accusations and malicious political assassination against SUPP.

‘SUPP will give its full cooperation to MACC in carrying out of its duties as SUPP supports a professional and efficient MACC and its special task force for 1MDB Investigations,” he said.
