陈超耀探访“半截人”陈平权
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师对“半截人”陈平权生活的毅力赞赏不已。 陈平权16年前因一场意外失去双脚，但他没有放弃生命，靠着住家前种植蔬菜，抚养5名儿女。陈超耀日前探望陈平权，并了解到政府即将征收菜园土地作为发展用途，令陈氏感到忧虑。 陈氏希望陈超耀伸出援手，暂时保留小片土地，让他继续种植蔬菜，维持生计。 陈超耀经了解后，发现陈氏目前种菜的土地不受影响，还可继续保留该土地种菜。他希望陈氏可以安心，种菜土地获得保留后，他与家人可以继续从中获得收入。 他也表示，陈氏的菜园也可为周围住宅区带来绿意，塑造正面形象。
符祥威挑战杨薇讳直接向联邦要求国油缴销售税
针对朋岭区州议员杨薇讳表示将在州议会提呈动议，要求砂政府入禀法庭厘清国油公司未缴付石油产品销售税给砂拉越事件，砂人联党青年团秘书长符祥威律师奉劝杨薇諱不要演皮影戏，愚弄砂人民。 符祥威今日发表文告，挑战杨薇諱向行动党秘书长兼联邦财政部长林冠英提出国油公司未缴付5%石油产品销售税事宜，要求林冠英指示国油公司立刻缴付该销售税给砂拉越政府，毕竟国油公司是属於联邦政府的公司。 “杨薇諱不要自讲自爽，糊弄砂拉越人民，大家都知道行动党是联邦政府执政党，而联邦政府掌管国油公司。” 他说，杨薇諱欲提呈的动议是否是政治噱头，答案是显然易见的。 符祥威指出，若杨薇諱真有诚意为砂拉越争取5%石油产品销售税，她根本无需大费周章在州议会提呈动议，要求砂政府入禀法庭厘清国油公司未缴付石油产品销售税，而是直接向林冠英或首相敦马哈迪开口即可。

砂人联党青年总团团长程明智认为，首相敦马哈迪频发言干预外国内政，形成国内农产品，如棕油、橡胶在国际市场滞销有关，而执政联邦的希盟各党却漠视此重大的民生课题。 他抨击希盟中的行动党，拥有42个国会议员，当中还有6名联邦部长，没有劝告马哈迪不要发言干预他国内政，反而支持马哈迪收容印度通缉犯查吉尔，还有马哈迪批评香港问题等，总是扮演对马哈迪“陪笑”的角色。 亦是砂首长署政治秘书程明智今日发文告指出，希盟联邦政府执政已一年半的时日，没有履行给予砂拉越平等伙伴财富分享的承诺，反而造成经济低糜，尤其是农产品在国际市场滞销，带给砂农民强大的冲击。 他说，本身接获砂许多种植小圆主的投诉指希盟联邦政府，对国内一箩筐的事物，尤其是振兴国内经济方面没有想方设法，反而是使到种族主义的氛围浓厚，教育事务也有“开倒车”的现象。 他指出，首相马哈迪频频发言干预外国内政，导致一些外国不愿购买我国原产品，砂各地一些小园主对此表明，这让他们（小园主）经济雪上加霜，甚至血本无归。 程明智声称，而砂希盟领袖却没有深入了解农民的问题，反而一再说国内经济取得正面的成长，实际上，砂市场因为农产品在国际市场滞销，市场时呈现一片低糜状态，几乎各行各业都面对冲击。 他说，砂希盟，尤其是砂行动党，应该关注砂小园主及农民所面对的困境，立即向行动党的原产业部部长郭素沁要求，向小园主及农民作出适当的补贴，让他们度过难关，而不是一再为希盟联邦政府的政策失当作出掩盖。 特别是行动党拥有如此众多的国会议员、州议员，也应该遏制首相马哈迪继续发表涉有干预外国的言论，应全力以赴先作好解决国内的问题，否则就是辜负人民给予希盟及行动党的委托。
石角联邦大道排水系统不佳
石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤对公共工程局到今天还没改善或提升石角至拿督张君光大桥一带联邦大道两旁的排水系统不佳感到不满。 他日前亲自巡视该道路一带，发现疑出水口严重被堵塞，以致每次豪雨，多处都酿成积水情况。 沈桂贤表示，这个问题不是今天才发生，今年年初民众已向石角民众服务中心反映，服务团队人员也前往勘察，之后也亲自致函给公共工程局，反映问题和要求尽快清理，确保道路使用者的安全。 他指出，问题还是没有得到公共工程局彻底解决，这是一条属於联邦管辖的道路，公共工程局有绝对的权力和责任提升道路两旁的沟渠。 “我的秘书已经在本月14日再次致函给公共工程局，并附上该地区积水情况的相片，我希望问题能尽快获得解决，公共工程局不该存有任何的借口。” 沈桂贤说，联邦每年向砂拉越征收各种税务包括路税，却不能为禀属他们管辖的道路提供更好实施，这是不能被接受的。

砂拉越人民联合党关注砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里近日在沙巴发表沙巴公民未来可能无需任何条件进入砂州的言论。 砂人联党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤表示，目前只是通过报章了解有关的事项，还没了解这是不是首长的本意，因此需要获得首长对有关新闻和言论，做进一步讲解或厘清。 他强调，在维护砂拉越移民自主权方面，人联党向来的立场是坚定，不妥协，无论是马来亚或沙巴人民到访砂拉越，必须遵照砂拉越现有的移民自主权所赋予的条例和手续。 “人联党会和人民一起共同维护捍卫砂拉越移民自主权的权力，绝对不动摇。” 他指出，砂政党联盟领袖丹斯里玛欣甚至首长本身都曾表明坚决捍卫砂移民自主权，也不会让步和妥协，反而是希盟表明，如果在砂选举获得执政将废除移民自主权，甚至有副部长当面要求砂政府废除移民自主权。 “我们对砂拉越境内没有大量非法移民感到欣慰，但是对联邦内政部最近宣布将为沙巴外劳发放60万分的身份证感到担心，希望此举不是沙巴假身份证的翻版。”

千韻藝社慈善基金组移交善款 捐助3名聽障童植人工耳蝸
