Getting into public universities with Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
Minister of Higher Education Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh is ready to discuss the university entrance with the Sarawak United Association of Chinese School Boards of Management, according to Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian.
“The association, under its chairman Datuk Pau Chiong Ung, had already met up with Ministry of Education (MOE) but they have yet to meet up with the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on students getting into public universities with their Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), said SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
He said he hoped that everyone will play a role in getting the students admitted and that the application could be speed up.
