Case between SUPP and Twinswood Sdn Bhd

In the case between SUPP and Twinswood Sdn Bhd on the Sibu Branch Centre, the Court has declared SUPP as the rightful owner.

The dispute on the ownership of the three shop houses situated at Jalan Kampong Datu between SUPP and Twinswood Sdn Bhd, has finally been ruled in SUPP favour in the absence of Twinswood Sdn Bhd at 2:30p.m. this afternoon.

The Writ was filed by SUPP in High Court Sibu on 4.6.2015 and served on Twinswood Sdn Bhd on 5.6.2015. Upon receiving the Writ, Twinswood did not enter any appearance nor did they file any defence within the time stipulated under the Rules of Court 2012. This has resulted in the judgment in default of defence being entered against them. The Writ filed against Twinswood is mainly seeking a declaration that the three shop houses is held by Twinswood on trust for SUPP and that Twinswood shall transfer the three shop houses into the name of SUPP.

The SUPP Party President together with the five Sibu Branch Chairman expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude towards all the Party Members and supporters for their relentless contribution both in time and energy in this battle, in particular the Party elder Tan Sri Wong Soon Kai whose revelation of the truth at a most timely moment.

The Party’s property belongs to all Members of the Party, not to mention this asset also contains the enthusiastic contributions from the masses. We must not tolerate any action of dove over nestle, confounding right with wrong and fishing in troubled waters. People entering into politics, aimed at better the life of the people, to redress grievances and injustice and to uphold righteousness! This incident is most unfortunate, but it avails an opportunity for the people to witness another side of human nature.

This incident also saw the honest, truthful, bold and party-loving comrades to stand up and restore the truth. The Sarawak United People’s Party as always is fighting for a better future for the people. Let us stand together and strive for our future.
