Fund raising for flood victims
Ten years ago today, Indian Ocean Tsunami disastrous not only destroyed thousands of home in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia …. but also killed more than 200,000 human lives from many countries throughout the world.
Today, the infrastructure were rebuilt, the resilience of the people were stronger than before though the scar remains as deep as the 1st day.
Today, there are more than 100,000 Malaysians evacuated from their homes on the East Coast of Peninsular of Malaysia. Our thoughts and prayers to the flood victims of our fellow Malaysians in the East Coast.
SUPP would start a fund raising from the members and branches in aid to the victims. To get the ball rolling, SUPP will donate $10,000 as a start and Dato Sebastian will head a task force for this Bantuan Banjir.
We also urge the big multinationals from Sarawak to step forward and step up in times of national crisis like this and help up with helicopters, food, water and transport.
Please contact our SUPP Secretary General Dato Sebastian HP no 0128778188 or SUPP Publicity Secretary Adam Yii HP no 0128784012 if you need more information.
