砂人联党发起赈灾募捐运动
砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员披露，砂人联党将发动一项赈灾募捐运动，协助西马面对严重水灾影响到大马同胞。 作为开始，砂人联党将捐出1万令吉的义款，而党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师也会领导整个募捐运动。 他呼吁砂州多元种族人民共同伸出援手，向西马同胞捐赠义款及必需品。 “10年前，印度洋大海啸摧毁了印尼、泰国及马来西亚人民的家园，并造成20万条性命牺牲；10年后，受影响的家园已经重建起来，人们在经历严重灾难后，也变得更加坚毅。” 他表示，如今西马超过10万名马来西亚同胞受到严重水灾的影响，被迫离开家园，而砂州人民此刻应该要与他们同在，尽自己的能力帮助他们。 欲知详情，可联络陈超耀（012-8778188）或该党宣教秘书俞小珊（012-8784012）。
哥打圣淘沙支部协助民众处理援助金事宜
砂人联党哥打圣淘沙支部于今早在古晋3里巴杀设立了一马援助金,服务柜台。 该支部发现，发现许多民众至今还未处理银行户口及受益人资料等资料更新手续，因此希望他们在仅剩的最后三天, 还未处理的民众可以通过人联党的服务柜台, 顺利跟新并呈报。

Ten years ago today, Indian Ocean Tsunami disastrous not only destroyed thousands of home in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia …. but also killed more than 200,000 human lives from many countries throughout the world. Today, the infrastructure were rebuilt, the resilience of the people were stronger than before though the scar remains as deep as the 1st day. Today, there are more than 100,000 Malaysians evacuated from their homes on the East Coast of Peninsular of Malaysia.
