Pending branch new line up
SUPP Secretary general, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian has been elected in as the Chairman of the Pending branch for the second term.
Earlier on in his speech, Sim said the Triennial general meeting 2014 showed the party’s strength and its bond. The occasion also showed the presence of new members.
Sim said the last three years had been a tough time for them. And he was glad that the whole issue is a thing of the past as those who tried to wreck the party ended up having not only joined a new party, but twice over. He emphasised that the two new parties are not component parties of the Barisan Nasional (BN)
He stressed all members to work hard to serve the people as the main objective of the party,
He urged members to visit the branches every Saturday. He and the community leaders would be at the Pending branch to discuss or to solve any matters that may crop up.
For the dinner planned on August 8, where SUPP had invited 13 top leaders of the BN component parties, Sim said eight Presidents had responded they will attend. This proved that SUPP matters a lot to the component parties.
Subsequent to the August 23 Triennial Delegates conference, Sim urged everyone to work harder and better. “We must work hard and know what is happening on the ground. We must also be equipped with the skills on how to counter the opposition,”he added.
