SUPP Kuching Branch 66th Anniversary Celebration to be Held as Grand Dinner Event

In celebration of the 66th anniversary of the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Kuching Branch, the organising committee has announced that the celebrating event will now be held as a formal dinner to mark this significant milestone.

Originally planned as a carnival, Co-organising Committee Chairman Cr. Nicholas Wung Duk Ying explained that they aims to enhance the ceremonial significance of the celebration, ensuring a more streamlined programme while providing a meaningful platform for deeper engagement among party members and supporters.

Following the founding of SUPP on June 4,1959, Wung said Kuching Branch was established on 29th June the same year. Since then, it remains committed to preserving Sarawak’s multicultural harmony and development. The 66th anniversary celebration not only honours the party’s journey thus far, but also symbolizes its continued determination to advance in unity in the new era.

The dinner will welcome the party leaders, guests of various associations, especially SUPP supporters to commemorate its 66 years of service and to look ahead toward future progress.
