Christmas Wishes From Party Leaders
Christmas is the time of celebrating the joy of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also a time for everyone to forgive and share the joyous occasion. In Sarawak, this day has a special meaning for Sarawakians where people of all races wished each other a blessed Christmas day.

Secretary General of SUPP Dr. Sim Kui Hian wishes everyone a Merry Xmas and a Happy 2014.” I am confidence that SUPP members will have the wisdom to move forward with the senior SUPP leaders making way and sacrificing for the young generation to take over, ensuring the survival of the party. The young generation of SUPP leaders will fight for the Sarawakian’s interest, not just the Sarawak Chinese Community but also the Sarawak bumi community who has supported SUPP faithfully. There is no question that SUPP will remain a partner of value and relevance in BN not just in the past but for the future”.

Publicity Chief, Dato’ Sebastian Ting said: Another year is almost coming to an end. There are good times this year where I spent with my supporters and friends. Of course, there are also bad times which I prefer to put behind me. With the joy of Christmas coming, we will celebrate the festive season with joy and understand the true meaning that Jesus, who was born to suffer for our sins, so that we can be saved.
So I wish all my friends out there a Blessed Merry Christmas and a very Happy New year. May the next year bring us good health and happiness.

Youth Central Chief, Tan Kai wishes everyone a great time during the Christmas holidays and hopes they all had a good year to look forward in 2014.
“All I want for Christmas is to see an end to this year’s turmoil within the party. I also hope all party members who professed to love SUPP will continue to support and not create problems for the party. They also must respect the present SUPP leadership and have confidence to move forward for a better year in 2014,” he said.

Tnay Li Ping 2013 is of the opinion that the year has come to an end and wish to take the opportunity of the season to wish that Sarawak politics would be more at peace. She hopes that Sarawakian are more positive and see the better side of life like jobs opportunities, better income and most important, everyone should be happy and thankful of what Sarawak has brought us.

Secretary general of Youth Wing, Wilfred Yap said he wishes all members of the public, supporters and members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
“May the new year bring joy and happiness to each and everyone. For SUPP, I wish that 2014 would be the year of turn-around where the level of trust and support from the various communities in Sarawak will continue to increase. May 2014 also be the year when SUPP regains it role as the voice of the various communities in Sarawak,” he said.

Milton Foo, Training and Legal Adviser of SUPP, said the present state of our party is no doubt in pain, not only internally (party fraction) but also externally (relevant to the people).
He said under the BN State government since our independence, Sarawak has undergone changes, with both good and bad times. There is a public call for better democracy, better transparency in governance, a more accountable government and equal opportunity for the people in terms of economy, education without discrimination of race, gender and religion, and to safeguard the rights and interests of the people.
Foo said for more than half of a century, SUPP has been striving for a fair and just society, a mission that we shall never forget as the root enshrined in the constitution of SUPP.
We see the crime rate rising, price hike on goods, foods and daily amenities, higher tax, all of which make people’s life worst off.
“From the bottom of my heart, I pledge to all my dear comrades and SUPP friends not to give up hope in the party and continue our vigorous battle in fighting for social justice and fairness. Sarawakians deserve dignity and a life without fear or favour. We shall together show our strength in unity and march forward to a better year ahead for the people as well as for the party. Wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2014.
