Datuk Senator Dr Sim received Commemorative Medal
Datuk Senator Sim Kui Hian received the Pingat Peringatan Perayaan Jubli Emas – Pingat Bakti Jubli Emas ( P.B.E.) yesterday from the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Adenan Satem on Tuesday. The ceremony was held at the DUN building.
The Commemorative Medal of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations – Golden Jubilee Medal was part of 50th Anniversary Sarawak being in
Malaysia.
Three other doctors who dedicated their life in the public hospital system were also recognised. They are Tan Sri Datu Dr Taha, Datuk Dr Stalin Hardin, and Datuk Dr Tan Ya Kwang.
Sim said there are many more doctors (Malaysians and Non Malaysians) in both the public hospitals from city hospital like Sarawak General Hospital to small rural Hospital such as Marudi, whose services deserve to be recognised for their years of public service in the public health sector in Sarawak.
He thus dedicated his medal to all the doctors and staff who works in the 23 hospitals, 240 health clinics, 122 mobile health teams and staff of
167 FDS locations in Sarawak.
