Datuk Alfred Yap’s book launch
A book by Datuk Alfred Yap, “Those were the days” is detailed his journey from his early childhood to his political not just a pleasure and privilege to come together to read but his painstaking documentation with thousands of photos seen from his perspective is an interesting read.
Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian who is SUPP’s Party President said the book also recognize his services, dedications and sacrifices over 40 years for Sarawak, Batu Kawa and SUPP.
He thanked Yap and family for contributing towards Sarawak nation building.
Yap said he wrote the book during his retirement detailing 20 years of his political career as former Batu Kawa state Assemblyman.
The first part is about his childhood and then his career as Sarawak administration officer and his law studies in UK. He is now practising law in his own firm.
