Datuk Sebastian Ting site visit with Shin Yang to the new extended parking lots

The second phase of the Miri Taman Bulatan construction project included 6 major projects two from Rural Transformation programme under Datuk Sebastian Ting and four from SCR projects under Skin Yang.

One of the expansion parking lots has been completed, increasing from the original 50 parking spaces to 107 parking spaces, including 2 parking spaces for the disabled .

Ting who is Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts said that the six major projects are the construction of landscape, skateboarding grounds, octagonal rest place, expansion of parking lots, bicycle playgrounds and roofing for basketball courts.

He said the extended parking lot project, which is expected to be completed on the 15th of this month, was completed ahead of schedule which now has two parking spaces for the disabled and four parking spots for mobile food trucks.

He pointed the two under his RTP, the for the bicycle track received RM 600,000 to start the project. As for the roof for basketball court, it will also seek to apply for funding to implement the project through this year.

Ting went to the park for inspection and found that the surrounding environment was clean and tidy. He thanked the people of Miri for their cooperation in keeping the environment clean and beautiful, and reducing the bad habit of littering.

He thanked Shin Yang Group, Datuk James Ling, for his good deeds to give back to the society by fulfilling the spirit of corporate social responsibility (CSR), and thanked all participants and people for their cooperation and support, which enabled the facilities to be upgraded.
