New SUPP branch in Bekalalan
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) established a new branch branch, Bekalalan branch in Northern zone.
Organising committee chairman, Datuk Mathew Chen said it is important for SUPP to further promote the party in North Sarawak and serve the people there.
The registration application for the establishment of this branch was approved by the ROS recently.
Chen said the party central had supervised the first committee meeting with new committee members elected with Balang Lansong elected as chairman.
Chen reminded the first executive committee members at the meeting that they had to shoulder heavy responsibilities and always kept in mind the party’s goal and purpose of serving the people.
He said although Bakalalan is not a SUPP constituency, the SUPP’s mission is to serve the people. Therefore, whether it is a SUPP constituency or not, the purpose of providing services to the local people will never change.
