Paying courtesy visit to Chief Minister
Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call by a delegation from Federation Aided Chinese Primary School Boards of Kuching Samarahan Serian Divisions led by President Jonathan Chai at Wisma Bapa Malaysia.
The main purpose of the courtesy call is to brief Abang Jo on the progress of the relocation and rebuilding of SJKC Bako of which the school opening ceremony will be held on September 15.
The Organizing Chairman of the school’s opening ceremony cum Deputy President of the Association, Rodger Chan , expressed his gratitude to CM for consenting to be the Guest of Honour to officiate the opening ceremony of the School.
During the courtesy call, the board also discussed with YAB CM on various issues affecting Chinese Primary Schools including funding, PIBG, resources, computer class and smart classroom. The President Jonathan Chai was pleased with the positive responses and support from the Chief Minister.
